17 – Ismāʿīl b. ʿAlī b. ʿAlī, al-Diʿbilī [ibn Akhī Diʿbil]. He resided in Wāsiṭ, and was responsible for its treasury. He was a liar, fabricator of ḥadīths. What he narrates from his father from al-Riḍā عليه السلام is not regarded, nor is other than that (to be regarded), nor what he authored.
