9. ‘Ali ibn Ḥusain narrated to me from ‘Ali ibn Ibrāhīm ibn Hāshim, from Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā ibn ‘Ubayd, from Abī ‘Abdillāh Zakariyyā Al-Mu`min, from Ibrāhīm ibn Nājiyah, from Isḥāq ibn ‘Ammār, who said
I said to Abī ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)), “Teach me a short Salām to the Prophet (s.a.a.w.).” Imam (a.s.) replied: Recite (the following): I ask Allāh who selected you, chose you, guided you, and guided (the creation) through you, to increasingly send His delightful blessings on you.
