Hadith 233
۞
19. My father narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, and from ‘Abdillāh ibn Ja’far Al-Ḥimyari, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā, from Muḥammad ibn Khālid Al-Barqi, from ‘Abdil ‘Aďīm ibn ‘Abdillāh Al-Ḥasani Al-‘Alawy, from Ḥasan ibn Ḥakam Al-Nakha’i, from Kuthayr ibn Shihāb Al-Ḥārithi, who said
(One day) while we were sitting with the Commander of the Believers (a.s.) in Ruḥbah, Ḥusain (a.s.) entered. (When the Commander of the Believers (a.s.) saw him), he smiled in a way that his teeth could be seen. Then he (the Commander of the Believers (a.s.)) said: Allāh has mentioned some people in the Qur’an by saying, “Neither did the heavens weep over them, nor the earth, nor were they granted respite” (44:29). I swear to He, who split the grain and created the living beings, that he (Ḥusain (a.s.)) will be killed and the heavens and the earth will weep over him.
