7. My father narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from ‘Ali ibn Ismā’īl ibn ‘Isā, from Safwān ibn Yaḥyā, from Ḥusain ibn Abil ‘Alā, who said
Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) said: Ḥusain ibn ‘Ali (a.s.) said to his companions on the day on which they were assaulted, “I testify that permission has been granted for you to be killed, so fear Allāh and remain patient.” The above Ḥadīth has also been narrated to me through the following chain: Muḥammad ibn Ja’far Al-Razzāz, from his uncle Muḥammad ibn Ḥusain ibn Abil Khaťťāb, from ‘Ali ibn Nu’mān, from Ḥusain ibn Abil ‘Alā, from Abī ‘Abdillāh (a.s.).
