Imam Ali (AS) said, That which you beget is for the dust, that which you build is for destruction, that which you amass is to perish, that which you do is recorded in a book [of deeds] and stored for the Day of Accounting.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : ما وَلَدْتُمْ فَلِلتُّرابِ وَ ما بَنَيْتُمْ فَلِلْخَرابِ وَ ما جَمَعْتُمْ فَلِلذِّهابِ وَما عَمِلْتُمْ فَفي كِتاب مُدَّخَر لِيَوْمِ الحِسابِ
