Imam Ali (AS) said, Of all people, the most behoving of [granting] forgiveness is the one who has the greatest power to punish.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : أوْلَى النّاسِ بِالعَفْوِ أقْدَرُهُمْ عَلَى العُقُوبَةِ
