Imam Ali (AS) said, You must obey the One whom you cannot be excused for being ignorant about.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : عَلَيْكَ بِطاعَةِ مَنْ لاتُعْذَرُ بِجَهالَتِهِ
