Imam Ali (AS) said, Then shun extravagance by economizing, and recall today [what you will need] tomorrow; hold on to wealth [only] to the extent of your necessity and send forth the surplus for the day when you will need it.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : فَدَعِ الإسْرافَ مُقْتَصِداً وَ اذْكُرْ فِي اليَوْمِ غَداً وَ أمْسِكْ مِنَ المالِ بِقَدْرِ ضَرُورَتِكَ وَقَدِّمِ الفَضْلَ لِيَوْمِ حاجَتِكَ
