Hadith 801

2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ‘Abd Allah ibn al-Mughirah from Khalid ibn Ayman al-Hannat from abu Basir who has narrated the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘A man must not be asked to take an oath except for what he knows.’”
2- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ أَيْمَنَ الْحَنَّاطِ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
لا يُسْتَحْلَفُ الرَّجُلُ إِلا عَلَى عِلْمِهِ.
