Hadith 2050

2. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Washsha’ and Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn abu Nasr all from Dawud ibn Sarhan who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the case of children; if they can use gold as ornaments. He (the Imam) said, ‘My father (a.s.), allowed his children and women to use gold and silver as ornaments, so it is not unlawful.’”
عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْوَشَّاءِ وَ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ جَمِيعاً عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ سِرْحَانَ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنِ الذَّهَبِ يُحَلَّى بِهِ الصِّبْيَانُ فَقَالَ إِنَّهُ كَانَ أَبِي ( عليه السلام ) لَيُحَلِّي وُلْدَهُ وَ نِسَاءَهُ بِالذَّهَبِ وَ الْفِضَّةِ فَلَا بَأْسَ بِهِ .
