Hadith 1983

12. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from Muhammad ibn ’Isma‘il from abu ’Isma‘il al-Sarraj from ‘Imran from a man who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), once looked at a shoe which had laces that were tied down. He (the Imam) picked it up, opened its laces and said, ‘This must not be tied down.’”
عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْمَاعِيلَ السَّرَّاجِ عَنْ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) أَنَّهُ نَظَرَ إِلَى نَعْلٍ شِرَاكُهَا مَعْقُودَةٌ فَتَنَاوَلَهَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) فَحَلَّهَا ثُمَّ قَالَ
لَا تَعْقِدْ .
