Hadith 1489

4. Certain persons of our people have narrated from Ali ibn al-Husayn from al-‘Abbas ibn ‘Amir ‘Abd Allah ibn Bukayr who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘The Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, arranged the marriage of Fatimah and Ali, ‘Alayhim al-Salam, for a mahr (dower) from one shield made by Hatmiyah (a certain people) valued at thirty dirham.’”
4- بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
زَوَّجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) عَلِيّاً فَاطِمَةَ (عَلَيْهِا السَّلام) عَلَى دِرْعٍ حُطَمِيَّةٍ يُسَاوِي ثَلاثِينَ دِرْهَماً.
