Hadith 1486

1. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn abu Nasr from ‘Abd al-Karim ibn ‘Amr al-Khath’amiy from ibn abu Ya’fur who has said the following
“I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), saying that Ali (a.s.), married Fatimah, ‘Alayha al-Salam, for a mahr (dower) from the price of a single gown, a shield and a bed which was made of the hide of a ram.’”
1- عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو الْخَثْعَمِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي يَعْفُورٍ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) يَقُولُ إِنَّ عَلِيّاً تَزَوَّجَ فَاطِمَةَ (عَلَيْهِا السَّلام) عَلَى جَرْدِ بُرْدٍ وَدِرْعٍ وَفِرَاشٍ كَانَ مِنْ إِهَابِ كَبْشٍ.
