Hadith 1987

9. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn Hadid from Jamil from certain persons of our people who have said the following
“Zakat is not due on gold. Zakat becomes due only on dinars and dirhams.”
9ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حَدِيدٍ عَنْ جَمِيلٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِنَا
أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَيْسَ فِي التِّبْرِ زَكَاةٌ إِنَّمَا هِيَ عَلَى الدَّنَانِيرِ وَالدَّرَاهِمِ.
