Hadith 755

By this isnad from Ibrahim b. Muhammad al-Thaqafi. He said: Muhammad b. `Ali informed me. He said: Al-`Abbas b. `Abdullah narrated to us from `Abd al-Rahman b. Al-Aswad from `Abd al-Rahman b. Mas`ud from `Ali (as). He said
The Messenger of Allah (s) said: The most beloved of my Ahl al-Bayt to me and the best [person] I leave behind is `Ali b. Abi Talib.
19 - وبهذا الاسناد، عن إبراهيم بن محمد الثقفي، قال: أخبرني محمد ابن علي، قال: حدثنا العباس بن عبد الله عن عبد الرحمن بن الاسود، عن عبد الرحمن بن مسعود، عن علي (عليه السلام)، قال
قال رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله): أحب أهل بيتي إلي وأفضل من أترك بعدي علي بن أبي طالب (2).
