Ja`far b. `Ali al-Kufi narrated to us. He said: My grandfather al-Hasan b. `Ali narrated to me from his grandfather `Abdullah b. al-Mughira from Isma`il b. Abi Ziyad al-Sha`iri from al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad from his father from his forefathers (as). He said
The Messenger of Allah (s) said: There are two classes of my Nation which, if they are rectified, my Nation is rectified, and if they are corrupted, then my Nation is corrupted: the rulers and the reciters.
