Abu’l `Abbas Muhammad b. Ibrahim al-Mukatib (ra) narrated to us. He said: Abu Sa`id al-Hasan b. `Ali al-`Adawi narrated to us. He said: Al-Haytham b. `Abdullah narrated to us. He said: Al-Ma’mun narrated to us from his father al-Rashid from al-Mahdi from his father al-Mansur from his father from his grandfather from Ibn `Abbas. He said
The Messenger of Allah (s) said to `Ali (as): You are my inheritor.
