Muhammad b. al-Hasan b. Ahmad b. al-Walid (ra) narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. al-Hasan al-Saffar narrated to us. He said: Ayyub b. Nuh narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. Abi `Umayr narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. Humran narrated to me from al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad (as). He said
Whoever [gossips] about his believing brother based on what he sees with his own eyes and hears with his own ears, he is the one whom Allah says regarding, “Surely, those who love to see indecency spread among the believers will suffer a painful punishment in this world and the Hereafter.” (24:19)
16 - حدثنا محمد بن الحسن بن أحمد بن الوليد (رضي الله عنه)، قال: حدثنا محمد بن الحسن الصفار، قال: حدثنا أيوب بن نوح، قال: حدثنا محمد بن أبي عمير، قال: حدثني محمد بن حمران، عن الصادق جعفر بن محمد (عليهما السلام)، قال
من قال في أخيه المؤمن ما رأته عيناه وسمعته أذناه، فهو ممن قال الله عز وجل: (إن الذين يحبون أن تشيع الفاحشة في الذين ءامنوا لهم عذاب أليم في الدنيا والآخرة) (2).
