Hadith 386

Al-Husayn b. Ibrahim b. Natana (rh) narrated to us. He said: `Ali b. Ibrahim narrated to us from his father from al-Hasan b. Mahbub from Hisham b. Salim from `Ammar b. Musa al-Sabati from Abi `Abdillah Ja`far b. Muhammad al-Sadiq (as). He said
When one prays the obligatory prayers at the beginning of their timings, fulfilling their rites, the angel takes them up to heaven in a pure, bright form. They will chant: “May Allah preserve you just as you preserved me. May Allah safeguard you just as you safeguarded me with a noble angel.” When one prays it after its timing for no reason and does not fulfill its rites, the angel takes it up in a dark, shadowed form. It will chant: “You have lost me. May Allah lose you just as you lost me. May Allah not take care of you just as you did not take care of me.” Then, al-Sadiq (as) said: The first things that the worshiper will be asked about when he stands before Allah are the obligatory prayers, the obligatory zakat, the obligatory fasting, the obligatory Hajj, and the wilaya of us, the Ahl al-Bayt. If he proclaims the wilaya and then dies upon it, his prayers, his fasts, his zakat, and his Hajj will be accepted from him. However, if he does not proclaim our wilaya before Allah, then Allah will not accept anything of his deeds.
11 - حدثنا الحسين بن إبراهيم بن ناتانه (رحمه الله)، قال: حدثنا علي بن إبراهيم، عن أبيه، عن الحسن بن محبوب، عن هشام بن سالم، عن عمار بن موسى الساباطي، عن أبي عبد الله جعفر بن محمد الصادق (عليه السلام)، قال
من صلى الصلوات المفروضات في أول وقتها فأقام حدودها، رفعها الملك إلى السماء بيضاء نقية، وهي تهتف به: حفظك الله كما حفظتني، واستودعك الله كما استودعتني ملكا كريما، ومن صلاها بعد وقتها من غير علة فلم يقم حدودها رفعها الملك سوداء مظلمة، وهي تهتف به: ضيعتني ضيعك الله كما ضيعتني، ولا رعاك الله كما لم ترعني. ثم قال الصادق (عليه السلام): إن أول ما يسأل عنه العبد إذا وقف بين يدي الله جل جلاله الصلوات المفروضات، وعن الزكاة المفروضة، وعن الصيام المفروض، وعن الحج المفروض، وعن ولايتنا أهل البيت، فإن أقر بولايتنا ثم مات عليها قبلت منه صلاته وصومه وزكاته وحجه، وإن لم يقر بولايتنا بين يدي الله جل جلاله لم يقبل الله عز وجل منه شيئا من أعماله (3).
