Hadith 291

Ahmad b. Ziyad al-Hamadani (rh) narrated to us. He said: `Ali b. Ibrahim narrated to me from his father from Isma`il b. Mehran from Darast b. Abi Mansur from `Isa b. Bashir from Abi Hamza from Abi Ja`far (as). He said
When death came to `Ali b. al-Husayn (as), he took me to his chest, then said: O my son! I will advise you of what my father (as) advised me of when death came to him, and what he mentioned his father advised him of. He said: “O my son! Beware of oppressing one who has no supporter against you except Allah.”

لما حضرت علي بن الحسين (عليهما السلام) الوفاة ضمني إلى صدره، ثم قال: يا بني، أوصيك بما أوصاني به أبي (عليه السلام) حين حضرته الوفاة، وبما ذكر أن أباه أوصاه به، فقال: يا بني إياك وظلم من لا يجد عليك ناصرا إلا الله (3).
