Hadith 203

My father (rh) narrated to us. He said: Sa`d b. `Abdullah narrated to us. He said: Ahmad b. Muhammad b. `Isa and Muhammad b. al-Husayn b. Abi’l Khattab narrated to us from Ahmad b. Muhammad b. Abi Nasr al-Bazanti. He said
I read in a letter of Abi’l Hasan al-Rida (as): Announce to my Shi`a that a visitation of me is considered by Allah to be equal to one thousand Hajj. He said: I said to Abi Ja`far [al-Jawad] (as): One thousand Hajj? He said: Yes, by Allah. One million Hajj for one who visits him recognizing his right.
3 - حدثنا أبي (رحمه الله)، قال: حدثنا سعد بن عبد الله، قال: حدثنا أحمد ابن محمد بن عيسى ومحمد بن الحسين بن أبي الخطاب، عن أحمد بن محمد بن أبي نصر البزنطي، قال
قرأت كتاب أبي الحسن الرضا (عليه السلام): أبلغ شيعتي أن زيارتي تعدل عند الله ألف حجة. قال: فقلت لابي جعفر ابنه (عليه السلام): ألف حجة؟ قال: إي والله، وألف ألف حجة لمن زاره عارفا بحقه (2).
