Hadith 417
1. My father, ‘Ali ibn Ḥusain, and Muḥammad ibn Ya’qūb all narrated to me from ‘Ali ibn Ibrāhīm ibn Hāshim, from his father, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn Abī Nasr, who said
Some of our companions asked Abal Ḥasan (Imam Riďā (a.s.)) about (the reward of) those who go to (the Ziyārah of) the grave of Ḥusain (a.s.). Imam (a.s.) replied, “It is equal to performing an ‘Umrah.”
1 حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي وَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ وَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ره جَمِيعاً عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ هَاشِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ قَالَ
سَأَلَ بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِنَا أَبَا الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا (ع) عَمَّنْ أَتَى قَبْرَ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) قَالَ تَعْدِلُ عُمْرَةً

Hadith 418
2. Muḥammad ibn Ja’far narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn Ḥusain, from Ḥasan ibn ‘Ali ibn Abī ‘Uthmān, from Ismā’īl ibn ‘Abbād, from Ḥasan ibn ‘Ali, from Abī Sa’īd Al-Madā`ini, who said
I went to Abī ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) and asked, “May I sacrifice myself for you! Should I go to (the Ziyārah of) the grave of Ḥusain (a.s.)?” Imam (a.s.) replied: O Abā Sa’īd! Yes! Go to (the Ziyārah of) the grave of the son of the Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.), the most blessed of the blessed ones, the most purified of the purified ones, and the most pious of the pious ones; for if you go to his Ziyārah, twenty-two ‘Umrah will be registered for you.
2 وَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عَبَّادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَدَائِنِيِّ قَالَ
دَخَلْتُ عَلَى أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) فَقُلْتُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ آتِي قَبْرَ الْحُسَيْنِ قَالَ نَعَمْ يَا أَبَا سَعِيدٍ ائْتِ قَبْرَ ابْنِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ (ص) أَطْيَبِ الطَّيِّبِينَ- وَ أَطْهَرِ الطَّاهِرِينَ وَ أَبَرِّ الْأَبْرَارِ فَإِذَا زُرْتَهُ كُتِبَ لَكَ اثْنَتَانِ وَ عِشْرُونَ عُمْرَةً

Hadith 419
3. Muḥammad ibn Ja’far narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn Ḥusain, from Muḥammad ibn Sinān, who said
I heard Imam Riďā (a.s.) say: Going to the Ziyārah of the grave of Ḥusain (a.s.) is equal to performing a purified and accepted ‘Umrah.
3 وَ عَنْهُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ الرِّضَا (ع) يَقُولُ زِيَارَةُ قَبْرِ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) تَعْدِلُ عُمْرَةً مَبْرُورَةً مُتَقَبَّلَةً

Hadith 420
4. My father and Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan both narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Aḥmad and ‘Abdillāh sons of Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā, from Mūsā ibn Qāsim, from Ḥasan ibn Jahm, who said
I asked Abal Ḥasan (Imam Riďā (a.s.)), “What do you say about (the reward for) going to the Ziyārah of the grave of Ḥusain (a.s.)?” Imam (a.s.) replied, “What is your opinion about this (matter)?” I said, “Some people say that it is equal to performing one Hajj while others say it is equal to performing an ‘Umrah.” Imam (a.s.) said, “It is equal to performing an accepted ‘Umrah.”
4 حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ره وَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ وَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ابْنَيْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ الْجَهْمِ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لِأَبِي الْحَسَنِ (ع) مَا تَقُولُ فِي زِيَارَةِ قَبْرِ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) فَقَالَ لِي مَا تَقُولُ أَنْتَ فِيهِ فَقُلْتُ بَعْضُنَا يَقُولُ حِجَّةٌ وَ بَعْضُنَا يَقُولُ عُمْرَةٌ فَقَالَ هُوَ عُمْرَةٌ مَقْبُولَةٌ

Hadith 421
5. Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan Al-Saffār, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā, from Muḥammad ibn ‘Ali, from Ibrāhīm ibn Yaḥyā Al-Qaťťān, from his father Abil Bilād, who said
I asked Abal Ḥasan (Imam Riďā (a.s.)) about (the reward for) going to the Ziyārah of the grave of Ḥusain (a.s.). Imam (a.s.) asked, “What is your opinion about this (matter)?” I replied, “We say that it is equal to performing a Hajj and an ‘Umrah.” Imam (a.s.) said, “It is equal to performing a purified ‘Umrah.”
5 وَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْقَطَّانُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَبِي الْبِلَادِ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا (ع) عَنْ زِيَارَةِ قَبْرِ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) فَقَالَ مَا تَقُولُونَ أَنْتُمْ قُلْتُ نَقُولُ حِجَّةٌ وَ عُمْرَةٌ قَالَ تَعْدِلُ عُمْرَةً مَبْرُورَةً

Hadith 422
6. ‘Ali ibn Ḥusain narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā, from ‘Ali ibn Aḥmad ibn Ashyam, from Safwān ibn Yaḥyā, who said
I asked Imam Riďā (a.s.), “What it the reward for going to the Ziyārah of the grave of Ḥusain (a.s.)?” Imam (a.s.) said, “It is equal to performing an ‘Umrah.”
6 حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَشْيَمَ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ الرِّضَا (ع) عَنْ زِيَارَةِ قَبْرِ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) أَيُّ شَيْءٍ فِيهِ مِنَ الْفَضْلِ قَالَ تَعْدِلُ عُمْرَةً

Hadith 423
7. My father and Muḥammad ibn ‘Abdillāh both narrated to me from ‘Abdillāh ibn Ja’far Al-Ḥimyari, from Ibrāhīm ibn Mahziyār, from his brother ‘Ali ibn Mahziyār, from Muḥammad ibn Sinān, who said
I heard Abal Ḥasan (Imam Riďā (a.s.)) say: Going to the Ziyārah of the grave of Ḥusain (a.s.) is equal to performing a purified and an accepted ‘Umrah.
7 حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ره وَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ جَمِيعاً عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ الْحِمْيَرِيِّ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مَهْزِيَارَ عَنْ أَخِيهِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مَهْزِيَارَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ (ع) يَقُولُ إِنَّ زِيَارَةَ قَبْرِ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) تَعْدِلُ عُمْرَةً مَبْرُورَةً مُتَقَبَّلَةً

Hadith 424
8. Muḥammad ibn Ja’far narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn Ḥusain, from Safwān ibn Yaḥyā, who said
I asked Abal Ḥasan (Imam Riďā (a.s.)) about the reward for going to the Ziyārah of the grave of Ḥusain (a.s.). Imam (a.s.) said, “It is equal to performing an ‘Umrah.”
8 حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ (ع) قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ قَبْرِ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) أَيُّ شَيْءٍ فِيهِ مِنَ الْفَضْلِ قَالَ تَعْدِلُ عُمْرَةً

Hadith 425
9. A group of our companions narrated to me from Aḥmad ibn Idrīs, and from Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyā Al-‘Aťťār, from ‘Amraki ibn ‘Ali, from some of his companions, from one of them (the infallible Imams (a.s.)), who said
Performing four ‘Umrah is equal to performing a Hajj, and going to the Ziyārah of the grave of Ḥusain (a.s.) is equal to performing an ‘Umrah.
9 حَدَّثَنِي جَمَاعَةُ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ إِدْرِيسَ وَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى الْعَطَّارِ عَنِ الْعَمْرَكِيِّ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ عَنْ بَعْضِهِمْ (ع) قَالَ
أَرْبَعُ عُمَرٍ تَعْدِلُ حِجَّةً وَ زِيَارَةُ قَبْرِ الْحُسَيْنِ ع تَعْدِلُ عُمْرَةً

Hadith 426
10. A group of our companions narrated to me from Aḥmad ibn Idrīs, and from Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyā Al-‘Aťťār, from ‘Amraki ibn Al-Būfaki, from someone who narrated to him, from Muḥammad ibn Fuďayl, from Abī Rabāb, who said
I asked Abā ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) about (the reward for) going to the Ziyārah of the grave of Ḥusain (a.s.). Imam (a.s.) said, “It is equal to performing an ‘Umrah, and one is not permitted to stay away from it for longer than four years.”
10 وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْعَمْرَكِيِّ بْنِ الْبُوفَكِيِّ عَمَّنْ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ عَنْ أَبِي رَبَابٍ [رِئَابٍ] قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) عَنْ زِيَارَةِ قَبْرِ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) قَالَ نَعَمْ تَعْدِلُ عُمْرَةً وَ لَا يَنْبَغِي أَنْ يَتَخَلَّفَ عَنْهُ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ أَرْبَعِ سِنِينَ
