Imam Ali (AS) said, For love of this world, listeners turn a deaf ear to [words of] wisdom and hearts become blind to the light of insight.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : لِحُبِّ الدُّنْيا صَمَّتِ الأسْماعِ عَنْ سَماعِ الحِكْمَةِ وَ عَمِيَتِ القُلُوبُ عَنْ نُورِ البَصيرَةِ
