Imam Ali (AS) said, Achievement of goodness is through maintaining obedience.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : دَرَكُ الخَيْراتِ بِلُزُومِ الطَّاعاتِ

Imam Ali (AS) said, Devote yourself assiduously to obedience and rush towards performing righteous deeds, keep away from evil acts and make haste towards good acts, and keep away from doing what is forbidden.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : ثابِرُوا عَلَى الطّاعاتِ وَ سارِعُوا إلى فِعْلِ الخَيْراتِ وَ تَجَنَّبُوا السَّيِّئاتِ وَ بادِرُوا إلى فِعْلِ الحَسَناتِ وَ تَجَنَّبُوا اِرْتِكابَ المَحارِمِ

Imam Ali (AS) said, Rush towards acts of obedience and race towards doing righteous actions, but if you fall short, then be careful not to fall short in performing that which is obligatory.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : سارِعُوا إلَى الطّاعاتِ وَ سابِقُوا إلى فِعْلِ الصَّالِحاتِ فَإنْ قَصَّرْتُمْ فَإيّاكُمْ وَ أنْ تُقَصِّرُوا عَنْ أداءِ الفَرائِضِ
