hadith 2469
Imam Ali (AS) said, I put the chests of the Arab [warriors] on the ground and broke the backs (or the protruding horns) of the tribes of Rabī‘ah and Muḍar.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : أنَا وَضَعْتُ بِكَلْكَلِ (بِكَلاكِلِ) العَرَبِ وَ كَسَرْتُ نَواجِمَ (قُرُونَ) رَبِيعَةَ وَ مُضَرَ

hadith 2476
Imam Ali (AS) said, Verily it is for the establishment of the proofs of Allah that I argue and it is in order to support His religion that I struggle and fight.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : إنّي لَعَلى إقامَةِ حُجَجِ اللّهِ أُقاوِلُ وَعلى نُصْرَةِ دِينِهِ أُجاهِدُ وَأُقاتِلُ

hadith 2504
Imam Ali (AS) said, I am not, nor have I ever been, intimidated by battle or frightened of being struck [by swords].
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : لَقَدْ كُنْتُ وَ ما أُهَدَّدُ بِالْحَرْبِ وَلا أُرَهَّبُ بِالضَّرْبِ

hadith 2530
Imam Ali (AS) said, The devout companions of the Messenger of Allah (s) know that I never disobeyed Allah, the Glorified, or His Prophet for even a moment; and I supported him in situations where the valiant ones retreated and when the feet were slow in moving forward with courage – Allah honoured me with [all] this. I spared no effort in his obedience, may the blessings of Allah be upon him, and I fought his enemies with all my might, and I put my life on the line in order to protect him, and he divulged to me from his knowledge that which he did not divulge to anyone other than me.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : وَلَقَدْ عَلِمَ المُسْتَحْفِظُونَ مِنْ أصْحابِ رَسُولِ اللّهِ صلَّى اللّه عليه و آله و سلَّم إنَّنِي لَمْ أرُدَّ عَلَى اللّهِ سُبْحانَهُ وَ لاعَلى رَسُولِهِ ساعَةً قَطُّ وَ لَقَدْ واسَيْتُهُ بِنَفْسِي فِي المَواطِنِِ الَّتي تَنْكِصُ فيها الأبْطالُ وَ تَتَأَخَّرُ عَنْها الأقْدامُ نَجْدَةً أكْرَمَنِي اللّهُ بِها وَ لَقَدْ بَذَلْتُ في طاعَتِهِ صَلَواتُ اللّهِ عَلَيْهِِ وَ آلِهِ جُهْدِي وَ جاهَدْتُ أعْدائَهُ بِكُلِّ طاقَتِي وَ وَقَيْتُهُ بِنَفْسِي وَ لَقَدْ أفْضى إلَيَّ مِنْ عِلْمِهِ بِما لَمْ يُفْضِ بِهِ إلى أحَد غَيْرِي

hadith 2546
Imam Ali (AS) said, We have established the pillar of truth and vanquished the forces of falsehood.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : نَحْنُ أقَمْنا عَمُودَ الْحَقِّ وَ هَزَمْنا جُيُوشَ الباطِلِ
