Imam Ali (AS) said, Bind your haste with your deliberateness, your domination with your friendliness and your evil [traits] with your good [ones]. Help the intellect overcome vain desires and you will possess understanding.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : صِلْ عَجَلَتَكَ بِتَأنّيكَ وَ سَطْوَتَكَ بِرِفْقِكَ وَ شَرَّكَ بِخَيْرِكَ وَ انْصُرِ العَقْلَ عَلَى الهَوى تَمْلِكِ النُّهى
