Narrated from Abu Abd Allah and Abu al-Hasan (peace be upon them). Kunyah Abu Ja'far. He has a book; his son Ja'far narrated from him. Also known as al-Sabati, brother of Marazim and Haddid. There is a possibility he is the one mentioned by al-Kashi, or that he is one of the others mentioned. God knows best.
