أبو إسحاق الهمداني: عده الشيخ في رجاله، (تارة): من أصحاب علي عليه السلام (24)، و (أخرى): من أصحاب الحسن بن علي عليهما السلام (1). أقول: ذكر الميرزا أنه عمرو بن عبد الله بن علي السبيعي الهمداني، وهذا بعيد جدا، فإن ذاك من أصحاب الصادق عليه السلام، ومر في رواية الاختصاص: أنه ولد في الليلة التي قتل فيها أمير المؤمنين عليه السلام، وهذا من أصحاب أمير المؤمنين عليه السلام، فالظاهر أنه رجل آخر.
