A Successor (Tabi'i), heard from Abu al-Tufayl 'Amir ibn Wathilah. Died during the life of Abu Abdillah (al-Sadiq) and was a jurisprudent. Ibn 'Uqda related that al-Sadiq supplicated for mercy upon him, and Ibn Numayr stated he was trustworthy; in summary, his hadith is relied upon.
