الحسين بن موسى بن محمد: قال الشيخ الحر في تذكرة المتبحرين (288): " السيد الجليل، الحسين بن موسى بن محمد بن (إبراهيم بن موسى بن) إبراهيم بن موسى بن جعفر الكاظم عليهم السلام، والد السيدين المرتضى والرضى: عظيم الشأن في العلم والدنيا والدين، أثنى عليه جماعة من أصحابنا وغيرهم من المحدثين والمؤرخين ". أقول: ذكر النجاشي والشيخ (433) في نسب السيد المرتضى، هكذا: علي ابن الحسين بن موسى بن محمد بن موسى بن إبراهيم بن موسى بن جعفر عليهم السلام، وعليه كانت جملة (ابن إبراهيم) بين كلمة (محمد) و (ابن موسى) زيدت في كلام الشيخ الحر - قدس سره -.
