3. Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad from Sama‘ah from Ahmad ibn al-Hassan al-Mithamiy from al- Husayn ibn al-Mukhtar who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah, Alayhi al-Salam, once said, ‘Make for me white capes and do not (make them of large size that require folding) break them; a master like me does not wear the broken one.’”
حُمَيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَمَاعَةَ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْمِيثَمِيِّ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ الْمُخْتَارِ قَالَ
قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) اعْمَلْ لِي قَلَانِسَ بَيْضَاءَ وَ لَا تُكَسِّرْهَا فَإِنَّ السَّيِّدَ مِثْلِي لَا يَلْبَسُ الْمُكَسَّرَ .

11. Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad ibn Sama‘ah from Ahmad ibn al-Hassan al-Mithamiy from Aban ibn ‘Uthman from Bassam al=Sayrafiy who has said the following
“About the case of a camel that feeds on feces, abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said, ‘It cannot be used for food or riding for forty days.’”
حُمَيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَمَاعَةَ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْمِيثَمِيِّ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ بَسَّامٍ الصَّيْرَفِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) فِي الْإِبِلِ الْجَلَّالَةِ قَالَ
لَا يُؤْكَلُ لَحْمُهَا وَ لَا تُرْكَبُ أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْماً .

12. Hamid ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad al-Asadi from Ahmad ibn al-Hassan al-Maythami from Aban ibn ‘Uthman from Muhammad ibn al-Fudayl who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) has said, ‘It is undesirable ( makruh ) to read Chapter 112 in one breath.”’
12ـ حُمَيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الأسَدِيِّ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْمِيثَمِيِّ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفُضَيْلِ قَالَ
قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) يُكْرَهُ أَنْ يُقْرَأَ قُلْ هُوَ الله أَحَدٌ بِنَفَسٍ وَاحِدٍ.

Al-Hassan ibn Muhammad al-Soofi al-Sarvi quoted on the authority of his teachers that God's Prophet (a.s) said
“Keep yourself hungry, your faces uncovered, your hair not made up, and be sad. Associate less with the people and more with God. Then you may see God through your hearts.”
حدثنا الفقيه موفق الدين الحسن بن محمد الصوفي السروي عن شيوخه عن النبي (صلى الله عليه وآله)
أنه قال: أجيعوا أكبادكم، وأعرو صوركم، وأشعثوا رؤوسكم، وصبوا عليكم جلباب الحزن، وجالسوا الناس قليلا ومع الله كثيرا، لعلكم ترون الحق بقلوبكم.

20. Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad ibn Sama‘ah, from more than one person from Aban from abu Maryam who has narrated the foffowing: “Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said, ‘
If one gives a charity it is permissible, regardless of whether the recipient takes possession or not, knows about it or does not know about it.’”
20- حُمَيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَمَاعَةَ عَنْ غَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ أَبَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
إِذَا تَصَدَّقَ الرَّجُلُ بِصَدَقَةٍ قَبَضَهَا صَاحِبُهَا أَوْ لَمْ يَقْبِضْهَا عُلِمَتْ أَوْ لَمْ تُعْلَمْ فَهِيَ جَائِزَةٌ.

3. Flumayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad ibn Sama‘ah from ‘Abd Allah ibn Jabalah and Ja‘far ibn Sama‘ah from Jamil from ’Isma‘il al-Ju‘fiy ’Isma‘il who has said the following
“Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said, ‘Divorce of a pregnant woman is one and when she gives birth to what is inside her, she becomes stranger to him.’”

15. Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad al-Kindiy from Ahmad ibn al-Hassan al-Mithamiy from Aban ibn ‘Uthman from ‘Abd al- Rahman ibn abu ‘Abd Allah who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about hunut for a deceased. He (the Imam) said, ‘Apply it on the parts of his body used during prostration.’”
15ـ حُمَيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْكِنْدِيِّ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْمِيثَمِيِّ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) عَنِ الْحَنُوطِ لِلْمَيِّتِ قَالَ اجْعَلْهُ فِي مَسَاجِدِهِ.

“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the twig which is placed in the grave. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not harmful.’”
9ـ حُمَيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْكِنْدِيِّ عَنْ غَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْجَرِيدَةِ تُوضَعُ فِي الْقَبْرِ قَالَ لاَ بَأْسَ.

10. Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad ibn Sama‘ah from more than one person from Aban from Hadid ibn Hakim who has said the following
“This is concerning my question before abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the case of a man who bought skins from the butcher to give him every day something clearly known. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not unlawful.’”
10- حُمَيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَمَاعَةَ عَنْ غَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ أَبَانٍ عَنْ حَدِيدِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لأبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) الرَّجُلُ يَشْتَرِي الْجُلُودَ مِنَ الْقَصَّابِ يُعْطِيهِ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ شَيْئاً مَعْلُوماً قَالَ لا بَأْسَ.

3. Hamid ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad ibn Sama’a from Wuhayb ibn Hafs from abu Basir who has said the following
“Once I asked Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) about a man who has forsaken his relatives who do not recognize the truth.’ The Imam said, ‘It is not proper for him to abandon them.’”
3ـ حُمَيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَمَاعَةَ عَنْ وُهَيْبِ بْنِ حَفْصٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَصْرِمُ ذَوِي قَرَابَتِهِ مِمَّنْ لا يَعْرِفُ الْحَقَّ قَالَ لا يَنْبَغِي لَهُ أَنْ يَصْرِمَهُ.

4. Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad ibn Sama‘ah from more than one person from Aban ibn ‘Uthman from abu al-‘Abbas who has said the following
“This is about a man who experiences sexual relation with a slave-girl while on a journey in the month of Ramadan. Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘It is not harmful.’”
4ـ حُمَيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَمَاعَةَ عَنْ غَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم)
فِي الرَّجُلِ يُسَافِرُ وَمَعَهُ جَارِيَةٌ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ هَلْ يَقَعُ عَلَيْهَا قَالَ نَعَمْ.

5. Humayd ibn Ziyad from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad ibn Sama‘ah from Muhammad ibn Ziyad from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has narrated the following
“About the case of inheritance of a newborn from a wergild, abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘He cannot inherit from a wergild anything unless he cries at birth and his crying is heard.’”
5- حُمَيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَمَاعَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) فِي مِيرَاثِ الْمَنْفُوسِ مِنَ الدِّيَةِ قَالَ
لا يَرِثُ مِنَ الدِّيَةِ شَيْئاً حَتَّى يَصِيحَ وَيُسْمَعَ صَوْتُهُ.

10. Al-Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad from more than one person from Aban from abu Hamza who has said the following
“Abu Ja’far (a.s.) when coming out of the house would say, ‘In the name of Allah, I have come out, in Allah I have place my trust, and there are no means and no power without Allah.’”

4. Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad from ‘Abd Allah ibn Jabalah from abu al=Mighra’ from Sama‘ah from abu Basir who has said the following
“Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said, ‘One who does not divorce according to Sunnah must be returned to the book of Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, even though he may refuse.’”

مَنْ طَلَّقَ لِغَيْرِ السُّنَّةِ رُدَّ إِلَى كِتَابِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ إِنْ رَغِمَ أَنْفُهُ .

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), was asked about one who dies in the company of people in the ocean. He (the Imam) said, ‘Ghusl (bath), shroud and Salah (prayer) are done for him and with some weight tied to him is thrown in the ocean.’”
2ـ حُمَيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ غَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ أَبَانٍ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام)
أَنَّهُ قَالَ فِي الرَّجُلِ يَمُوتُ مَعَ الْقَوْمِ فِي الْبَحْرِ فَقَالَ يُغَسَّلُ وَيُكَفَّنُ وَيُصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ وَيُثْقَلُ وَيُرْمَى بِهِ فِي الْبَحْرِ.

24. Hamid ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad ibn Sama’a from certain individuals of his people from Aban from ‘ Abd al-Rahman ibn Seyabah from abu al-Nu’man from abu ‘Abd Allah or abu Ja’far (a.s.) who has said the following
“Abu Ja’far (a.s.) has said, ‘One who does not prepare himself in patience to face the hardships of life, will remain helpless.’”
24ـ حُمَيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَمَاعَةَ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ عَنْ أَبَانٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَيَابَةَ عَنْ أَبِي النُّعْمَانِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله أَوْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
مَنْ لا يُعِدَّ الصَّبْرَ لِنَوَائِبِ الدَّهْرِ يَعْجِزْ.

8. Humayd ibn Yazid has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad ibn Sama‘ah from more than one person from Aban ibn ‘Uthman from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn abu ‘Abdillah who has said the following
“I once asked him (the Imam) (a.s.), about a man who breaks his fast in the month of Ramadan intentionally. He (the Imam) said, ‘He is required to give twenty Sa‘ in charity and make Qada’ (compensatory fast) of that fast.’”
8ـ حُمَيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَمَاعَةَ عَنْ غَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ أَفْطَرَ يَوْماً مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ مُتَعَمِّداً قَالَ يَتَصَدَّقُ بِعِشْرِينَ صَاعاً وَيَقْضِي مَكَانَهُ.

6. Al-Hassan ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu’alla ibn Muhammad from al- Hassan ibn Ali al-Washsha’ from Ali ibn abu Hamza who has said the following
“I heard one of them (the two Imam) (a.s.) saying, ‘When reviling words come from the mouth of reviling people they move back and forth. They will reach the deserving party, if any; otherwise, they come back to the reviling person.’”
6ـ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ أَحَدِهِمَا (عَلَيهِما السَّلام) قَالَ
سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ إِنَّ اللَّعْنَةَ إِذَا خَرَجَتْ مِنْ فِي صَاحِبِهَا تَرَدَّدَتْ فَإِنْ وَجَدَتْ مَسَاغاً وَإِلا رَجَعَتْ عَلَى صَاحِبِهَا.

1. Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad al-Kindiy from more than one person from Aban ibn ‘Uthman from ‘Abd af-Rahman ibn abu ‘Abd Aliah who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about how many pieces of fabric must be used for shrouding a woman. He (the Imam) said, ‘Five pieces of fabric must be used for shrouding a woman, of which one is al-Khimar (veil)”

“We heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), saying, ‘ Al-Shuf ’ (one’s rights of pre-emption) is applicable only between two partners who have not concluded their partnership.’”
10- حُمَيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَمَاعَةَ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْمِيثَمِيِّ عَنْ أَبَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ وَعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالا
سَمِعْنَا أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) يَقُولُ الشُّفْعَةُ لا تَكُونُ إِلا لِشَرِيكٍ لَمْ يُقَاسِمْ.
