محمد بن عمرو بن حزم: الأنصاري: عداده في المدنيين، شهد مع علي عليه السلام، من أصحاب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله، رجال الشيخ (37). وقال ابن عبد البر في الاستيعاب: انه ولد في سنة عشر من الهجرة بنجران، وكان فقيها، روى عنه جماعة من أهل المدينة، قتل يوم الحرة وهو ابن ثلاث وخمسين سنة، وكانت الحرة سنة ثلاث وستين، ويقال إنه كان أشد الناس على عثمان. المحمدون، محمد بن أبي بكر، ومحمد بن حذيفة، ومحمد بن عمرو بن حزم.
