hadith 530
Hadith.2101 - In a narration from Al-Sakuni, with his chain of transmission, it is reported that
the Messenger of Allah (swt) (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: "Performing i'tikaf for ten days in the Month of Ramadan is equivalent to two Hajj and two Umrah."
2101 - وَ فِي رِوَايَةِ اَلسَّكُونِيِّ بِإِسْنَادِهِ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ صَلَّى اَللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ : «اِعْتِكَافُ عَشْرٍ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ يَعْدِلُ حَجَّتَيْنِ وَ عُمْرَتَيْنِ».

4. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Nawfaliy from al-Sakuniy who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘When a boy is able to fast for three days continuously it is obligatory on him to fast in the month of Ramadan.’”
4ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
إِذَا أَطَاقَ الْغُلامُ صِيَامَ ثَلاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مُتَتَابِعَةٍ فَقَدْ وَجَبَ عَلَيْهِ صِيَامُ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ.

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from af-Nawfafiy, from af-Sakuniy from Ja’far (a.s.), from his father (a.s.), who said
“If the Messenger of Allah (sw) was fasting and he did not find Halwa (a special type of sweet), he would break his fast with water.”
1ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ (عَلَيْهِما السَّلاَم) قَالَ
كَانَ رَسُولُ الله (صلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) إِذَا صَامَ فَلَمْ يَجِدِ الْحَلْوَاءَ أَفْطَرَ عَلَى الْمَاءِ.

hadith 354
3. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from, his father from al-Nawfaliy from al-Sakuniy, who has said the following
“Ja’far (a.s.), from his ancestors, ‘Alayhim al-Salam, who have narrated that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ’Breakfast before dawn is a blessing.’ The Messenger of Allah has said, ‘My followers should not ignore breakfast before dawn, even if it is a piece of date.’”
3ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ آبَائِهِ (عَلَيْهِم السَّلاَم) قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) السَّحُورُ بَرَكَةٌ قَالَ وَقَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) لا تَدَعُ أُمَّتِيَ السَّحُورَ وَلَوْ عَلَى حَشَفَةٍ.

hadith 355
1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father, from af-Nawfafiy, from af-Sakuniy who has said the following: “Abu Ja’far (a.s.), has narrated from his ancestors who have said, ‘
The Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, would say this prayer during breakfast after sunset. ‘O Allah, we fasted for your sake, with your sustenance we break our fast. Please accept it from us. Thirst is gone, veins are quenched and the reward is to come.’”
1ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ آبَائِهِ (عَلَيْهِم السَّلاَم) أَنَّ رَسُولَ الله (صلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه)
كَانَ إِذَا أَفْطَرَ قَالَ اللهمَّ لَكَ صُمْنَا وَعَلَى رِزْقِكَ أَفْطَرْنَا فَتَقَبَّلْهُ مِنَّا ذَهَبَ الظَّمَأُ وَابْتَلَّتِ الْعُرُوقُ وَبَقِيَ الأَجْرُ.

10. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father, from al-Nawfaliy from al-Sakuniy who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that if a person fasts secretly, Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Glorious, says to His angels, ‘My servant has sought protection against my punishment, you must give him protection.’ Allah, the most Blessed, the most High, then assigns His angels to pray for the fasting people and in whoever’ s favor He commands them to pray, He hears and accepts their prayers.’”
10ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
مَنْ كَتَمَ صَوْمَهُ قَالَ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لِمَلائِكَتِهِ عَبْدِي اسْتَجَارَ مِنْ عَذَابِي فَأَجِيرُوهُ وَوَكَّلَ الله تَعَالَى مَلائِكَتَهُ بِالدُّعَاءِ لِلصَّائِمِينَ وَلَمْ يَأْمُرْهُمْ بِالدُّعَاءِ لأَحَدٍ إِلاَّ اسْتَجَابَ لَهُمْ فِيهِ.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Nawfaliy from al-Sakuniy who has said the following: “Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has narrated from his ancestors who have narrated this Hadith: ‘Ali (a.s.), has said about a man, who had vowed to fast for a Zamanan (a certain amount of time), that Zaman is five months, al-Hin is six months; Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, has said, ‘
It gives its fruits kulla Hin (every time) by the permission of its Lord.’”
5ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ آبَائِهِ (عَلَيْهِم السَّلاَم) أَنَّ عَلِيّاً صَلَوَاتُ الله عَلَيْهِ قَالَ
فِي رَجُلٍ نَذَرَ أَنْ يَصُومَ زَمَاناً قَالَ الزَّمَانُ خَمْسَةُ أَشْهُرٍ وَالْحِينُ سِتَّةُ أَشْهُرٍ لأَنَّ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَقُولُ تُؤْتِي أُكُلَها كُلَّ حِينٍ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّها.

hadith 926
Ahmad b. Harun al-Fami (ra) narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. `Abdullah b. Ja`far b. Jami` al-Himyari narrated to us from his father from Banan b. Muhammad b. `Isa from his father from `Abdullah b. al-Mughira from Isma`il b. Muslim al-Sukuni from al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad from his father (as). He said
The Messenger of Allah (s) said: There is not a worshiper who is insulted while he is fasting who responds: “Surely, I am fasting. Peace be unto you” except that the Lord says: “My servant sought refuge from My servant by fasting. Save him from My Fire and bring him into My Paradise.”
6 - حدثنا أحمد بن هارون الفامي (رضي الله عنه)، قال: حدثنا محمد بن عبد الله بن جعفر بن جامع الحميري، عن أبيه، عن بنان بن محمد بن عيسى، عن أبيه، عن عبد الله بن المغيرة، عن إسماعيل بن مسلم السكوني، عن الصادق جعفر بن محمد، عن أبيه (عليهما السلام) (3)، قال
قال رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله): ما من عبد يصبح صائما فيشتم فيقول: إني صائم سلام عليك، إلا قال الرب تبارك وتعالى: استجار عبدي بالصوم من عبدي، أجيروه من ناري، وأدخلوه جنتي (4).

Al-Hasan b. Muhammad b. al-Hasan b. Isma`iI al-Sakuni narrated to me in his house in Kufa. He said: Ibrahim b. Muhammad b. Yahya al-Nisapuri narrated to me. He said: Abu Ja`far b. al-Siri and Abu Nasr b. Musa b. Ayyub al-Khilal narrated to me. He said: `Ali b. Sa`id narrated to me. He said: Damra b. Shawdhab narrated to me from Matar from Shahr b. Hawshab from Abu Hurayra. [Abu Hurayra] said
Whomever fasts the eighteenth of Dhul Hijja, Allah records for him sixty months; and it is the day of Ghadir Khumm, when the Messenger of Allah (s) took the hand of `Ali b. Abi Talib (as) and said: “O people! Am I not more of a master over the believers [than they are over themselves]?” They said: “Yes, O Messenger of Allah.” He said: “For whomever I am a master, `Ali is his master.” So `Umar said to him: “Bravo, bravo, O son of Abi Talib! You have become my master and the master of every Muslim.” Then, Allah revealed, “This day I have perfected your religion for you …” (5:3).
حدثنا الحسن بن محمد بن الحسن بن إسماعيل السكوني في منزله بالكوفة، قال: حدثني إبراهيم بن محمد بن يحيى النيسابوري، قال: حدثنا أبو جعفر ابن السري وأبو نصر بن موسى بن أيوب الخلال، قال: حدثنا علي بن سعيد، قال: حدثنا ضمرة بن شوذب، عن مطر، عن شهر بن حوشب، عن أبي هريرة، قال
من صام يوم ثمانية عشر من ذي الحجة، كتب الله له صيام ستين شهرا، وهو يوم غدير خم، لما أخذ رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله) بيد علي بن أبي طالب (عليه السلام) وقال: يا أيها الناس، ألست أولى بالمؤمنين؟ قالوا: نعم يا رسول الله، قال: من كنت مولاه فعلي مولاه، فقال له عمر: بخ بخ يا بن أبي طالب، أصبحت مولاي ومولى كل مسلم، فأنزل الله عز وجل: (اليوم أكملت لكم دينكم) (2).
