Verily when a believer dies, he sees the Messenger of Allah (ṣ) and ʿAlī (a) present before him.”

“Abu Ja’far (a.s.) has said, ‘It is to disbelieve Allah, the Most Great, to disown one’s lineage even though it is very lowly. ’”

He has lied the one who claims that Allah Mighty and Majestic is from a thing, or in a thing, or upon a thing.

have you seen anyone following the poet? rather it (“poets” in the verse) refers to a group who gain understanding (seek knowledge) for other than the religion so they themselves become misguided and also misguide others.

“Whoever thinks that Allah orders people to commit sins has ascribed lies to Allah and whoever thinks that good and evil are from Allah has ascribed lies to Allah.”

“Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said, ‘Pride of women is jealousy and jealousy is the root of disbelief. When women become jealous they become angry and when they become angry they disbelieve except the Muslim ones among them.’”

I said to Abi Abdillah عليه السلام: what is the least thing by which the slave becomes Kafir? he said: that he innovates something and associates solely on its basis and disassociates from the one who opposes him (in it).

1. Imam Muhammad Baqir (a.s.) narrates that Amirul Momineen (a.s.) said, “One who recites Surahs while attending Congregation Prayer behind an Imam, will not be considered a follower of Islam after his death.”

‘The sons of Al-Mardaas (Al-Abbas) – the one who associates with them, they turn him to be an unbeliever, and the one who distances himself from them, they impoverish him, and the one antagonises them, they kill him, and the one who fortifies himself from them they lower him, and the one flees from them, they are wary of him, until their government comes to an end’.

“O Abut-Tufayl, Count twelve ones of bani Ka’b bin Lu’ay and then fighting and killing occur.”

‘I heard Abu Abdullah (asws) saying with regards to the Statement of Allah (azwj) Blessed and High: “[77:36] And permission shall not be given to them so that they should offer excuses”. So Imam (asws) said: ‘Allah (azwj) is more Majestic, and Just, and Greater than it, that if a servant has an excuse, He (azwj) would not Allow it to be presented by him. But, rather (it means that) he would fail and run out of excuses’.

by Allāh – they did not fast for them nor did they pray to them but they (the rabbis and monks) made permissible for them the prohibited and prohibited for them the permissible so they followed them.

“Once I asked Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) about the words of Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, ‘The deeds of anyone who rejects belief, certainly, become fruitless. He, on the Day of Judgment will be of those who lose.’ (5:5) The Imam said, ‘It is disregarding the deeds that he has confessed to be true. Of such deeds is disregarding prayer without suffering from illness or being preoccupied. ’”

I said: What is the least by which a man leaves faith? He said: An opinion, by which he sees it as being in opposition to the truth, and yet he remains on it.

The Messenger of Allah (s) said: He who hates `Ali has declared war on Allah. He who has doubt in `Ali has disbelieved.

Abu Abdullah Ja’far bin Muhammad as-Sadiq (as) said to me: “O Yahya bin Abdullah, he, who spent a night without knowing his imam, will die as an unbeliever.”

“By Allah, disbelief is older than polytheism and more vile and greater (in filth.) The narrator has said that the Imam then mentioned the disbelief of Iblis when Allah said to him: 'Prostrate to Adam,' but he refused to prostrate. Thus, disbelief is greater than polytheism. So, whoever chooses anything over Allah, Exalted and Mighty, and refuses to obey, and persists in major sins, he is a disbeliever. And whoever establishes a religion other than the religion of the believers, he is a polytheist."

“People are of six categories. All of them come from three groups: people of belief, disbelief and straying. All three are the people of two promises. Allah has promised paradise and fire. There are the believers, and the unbelievers. Besides, there are the weak ones who hope in the command of Allah whereby they may be punished or forgiven and there are those who have confessed to their sins and have mixed good deeds with bad deeds. Also there are the people of ‘A’raf. (Straying people are of four groups and with the other two: believing people and unbelievers total six groups).”

“When the state reaches here you will need it (recognition of Imam) much. Your thinking is good regarding this.”
