3. Ali ibn Muhammad has narrated from Salih ibn abu Hammad from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from and ibn Faddal from various people from abu Ja’far and Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who have said the following
“Abu Ja’far (a.s.) has said, ‘It is to disbelieve Allah, the Most Great, to disown one’s lineage even though it is very lowly. ’”
3ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ أَبِي حَمَّادٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ وَابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنْ رِجَالٍ شَتَّى عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ وَأَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) أَنَّهُمَا قَالا
كُفْرٌ بِالله الْعَظِيمِ الإنْتِفَاءُ مِنْ حَسَبٍ وَإِنْ دَقَّ.

9. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad al-Ash’ariy has narrated from ‘Abd Allah ibn ‘Amir from Ali ibn Mahziyar from Fadalah ibn Ayyub from Hammad ibn ‘Uthaman who has said the following
“I once asked him (the Imam) (a.s.), about optional Salah (prayer) during the day. He (the Imam) said, ‘He performs eight Rak‘at before al-Dhuhr and eight after al-Dhuhr.’”
9ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الأشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ عَامِرٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مَهْزِيَارَ عَنْ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ التَّطَوُّعِ بِالنَّهَارِ فَذَكَرَ أَنَّهُ يُصَلِّي ثَمَانَ رَكَعَاتٍ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَثَمَانٍ بَعْدَهَا.

5. Yunus has narrated from Hammad from Nu’man al-Razi who has said the following
“I heard Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) saying, ‘Whoever commits fornication suffers the loss of his belief, one who drinks wine suffers the loss of belief and one who breaks intentionally the fast in the month of Ramadhan suffers the loss of his belief.’”
5ـ يُونُسُ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ نُعْمَانَ الرَّازِيِّ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) يَقُولُ مَنْ زَنَى خَرَجَ مِنَ الإيمَانِ وَمَنْ شَرِبَ الْخَمْرَ خَرَجَ مِنَ الإيمَانِ وَمَنْ أَفْطَرَ يَوْماً مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ مُتَعَمِّداً خَرَجَ مِنَ الإيمَانِ.

8. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Ibrahim ibn ‘Umar al-Yamani from a man from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following
“Our Shi’a (followers) are people of guidance, of piety, of goodness, of belief and people of victory and triumph.”
8ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عُمَرَ الْيَمَانِيِّ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
شِيعَتُنَا أَهْلُ الْهُدَى وَأَهْلُ التُّقَى وَأَهْلُ الْخَيْرِ وَأَهْلُ الإيمَانِ وَأَهْلُ الْفَتْحِ وَالظَّفَرِ.

hadith 419
1. Abu Ali al-Ash’ariy has narrated from Muhammad ‘Abd al-Jabbar from Safwan ibn Yahya from Hammad ibn ‘Uthaman who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), ‘Can a man who complains of an ear-ache apply medicine to it?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not harmful.’”
1ـ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الأَشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الصَّائِمِ يَشْتَكِي أُذُنَهُ يَصُبُّ فِيهَا الدَّوَاءَ قَالَ لا بَأْسَ بِهِ.

1. Al-Husayn Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla’ ibn Muhammad from al-Hassan ibn Ali al-Washsha’ from Hammad ibn ‘Uthaman who has narrated the following
“I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), saying that in the case of a loan ’ Amir al-Mu’minin, Ali, Alayhi al-Salam, would accept the testimony of one person with the oath of the plaintiff.”’
1- الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ قَالَ

3. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Hassan from abu Dawud al-Munshid from Ja’far ibn Muhammad from Yunus from Hammad ibn ‘Uthman who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, that all water (from source) is clean until it is found out that it is not clean.”
3ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ أَبِي دَاوُدَ الْمُنْشِدِ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
الْمَاءُ كُلُّهُ طَاهِرٌ حَتَّى يُعْلَمَ أَنَّهُ قَذِرٌ.

2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Hariz from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“I once asked abu Ja‘far (a.s.), about the case of a Muslim man who slaughters a sheep and mentions the name of Allah but because of sharpness of the knife he cuts off the head. He (the Imam) said, ‘If blood has come out you can use it for food.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ ذَبَحَ شَاةً وَ سَمَّى فَسَبَقَهُ السِّكِّينُ بِحِدَّتِهَا فَأَبَانَ الرَّأْسَ فَقَالَ إِنْ خَرَجَ الدَّمُ فَكُلْ .

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Hariz from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“I once asked one of the two Imam, (abu Ja’far or abu ‘Abd Allah), ‘Alayhim al-Salam, about the case of a man who divorced his wife three times; then another man formed Mut‘ah with her if thereafter she can become lawful for him. He (the Imam) said, ‘No, it ( Mut‘ah ) is not enough.’”
1- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَحَدِهِمَا (عَلَيْهِما السَّلام) قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ ثَلاثاً ثُمَّ تَمَتَّعَ فِيهَا رَجُلٌ آخَرُ هَلْ تَحِلُّ لِلأوَّلِ قَالَ لا.

4. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad ibn ‘Uthaman from al-Halabiy who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘When you perform Salah (prayer) behind an Imam who is not qualified, read behind him the recitation, regardless, you hear him or not.’”
4ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
إِذَا صَلَّيْتَ خَلْفَ إِمَامٍ لاَ تَقْتَدِي بِهِ فَاقْرَأْ خَلْفَهُ سَمِعْتَ قِرَاءَتَهُ أَوْ لَمْ تَسْمَعْ.

6. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Whoever performs Salah (prayer) with them in the first row it is as if he has performed Salah (prayer) with the Messenger of Allah.’”
6ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
مَنْ صَلَّى مَعَهُمْ فِي الصَّفِّ الأوَّلِ كَانَ كَمَنْ صَلَّى خَلْفَ رَسُولِ الله (صلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه).

5. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad, from Hariz from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“I once said to him (the Imam) (a.s.), ‘There is a man who has become ill and has omitted optional Salah (prayer).’ He (the Imam) said, ‘O Muhammad, it is not obligatory Salah (prayer). If he performs, it is a good deed that he does. If he did not do, he is not required to perform it.’”
5ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لَهُ رَجُلٌ مَرِضَ فَتَرَكَ النَّافِلَةَ فَقَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ لَيْسَتْ بِفَرِيضَةٍ إِنْ قَضَاهَا فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ يَفْعَلُهُ وَإِنْ لَمْ يَفْعَلْ فَلاَ شَيْ‏ءَ عَلَيْهِ.

1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad, from Hammad from Hariz from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“I once asked abu ’Abd Allah (a.s.), about a man who in Salah (prayer) sees a snake or scorpion; can he kill it if it is hurting? He (the Imam) said, ’Yes, he can do so.”’
1ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَكُونُ فِي الصَّلاَةِ فَيَرَى الْحَيَّةَ أَوِ الْعَقْرَبَ يَقْتُلُهُمَا إِنْ آذَيَاهُ قَالَ نَعَمْ.

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘If one by mistake, mixes up Adhan he repeats to correct the mix up all the way to the end.’”
15ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
مَنْ سَهَا فِي الأذَانِ فَقَدَّمَ أَوْ أَخَّرَ عَادَ عَلَى الأوَّلِ الَّذِي أَخَّرَهُ حَتَّى يَمْضِيَ عَلَى آخِرِهِ.

7. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad from Hariz from certain persons of our people who has said the following
“Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said, ‘It is necessary to take Ghusl (bath) on Friday, on a journey or at home. If one forgets it, one must do it again next day.’ It is narrated that one suffering from illness is excused.’”
7ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
لاَ بُدَّ مِنْ غُسْلِ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ فِي السَّفَرِ وَالْحَضَرِ فَمَنْ نَسِيَ فَلْيُعِدْ مِنَ الْغَدِ وَرُوِيَ فِيهِ رُخْصَةٌ لِلْعَلِيلِ.

3. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Hariz from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), if there is Zakat on orphan’s assets. He (the Imam) said, ‘No, Zakat is not due unless it is used in business or is made to work.’”
3ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لأَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) هَلْ عَلَى مَالِ الْيَتِيمِ زَكَاةٌ قَالَ لاَ إِلاَّ أَنْ يُتَّجَرَ بِهِ أَوْ يُعْمَلَ بِهِ.

2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following
“Abu ’Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘A free woman can become a second wife, the first wife being a slave-girl; but a slave-girl cannot become a second wife, the first wife being a free woman. If one marries a slave-girl as a second wife, the first being a free woman, such marriage is invalid.’”
2- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
تَزَوَّجِ الْحُرَّةَ عَلَى الأمَةِ وَلا تَزَوَّجِ الأمَةَ عَلَى الْحُرَّةِ وَمَنْ تَزَوَّجَ أَمَةً عَلَى حُرَّةٍ فَنِكَاحُهُ بَاطِلٌ.

5. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following
“This is concerning my question before abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about mahr (dower). He (the Imam) said, ‘It is the amount upon which people agree or twelve Awqiyah and one Nashsha or five hundred dirham.’”
5- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْمَهْرِ فَقَالَ مَا تَرَاضَى عَلَيْهِ النَّاسُ أَوِ اثْنَتَا عَشْرَةَ أُوقِيَّةً وَنَشٌّ أَوْ خَمْسُمِائَةِ دِرْهَمٍ.

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Hariz from those who narrated to him who has said the following
“Abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘If one in the state of Ihram is afraid of beasts or snakes and so on, one can kill them, however, if they do not attack, one must not attack them.”’
1ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَمَّنْ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
كُلُّ مَا خَافَ الْمُحْرِمُ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ مِنَ السِّبَاعِ وَالْحَيَّاتِ وَغَيْرِهَا فَلْيَقْتُلْهُ فَإِنْ لَمْ يُرِدْكَ فَلا تُرِدْهُ.

15. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father, from Hammad from Hariz from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“I once asked him (the Imam), Alayhi al-Salam, about the case of a man who falsely accuses his wife. He (the Imam) said, ‘He is whipped, then they are left alone. He does not go through the process of al- Li‘an (condemnation) who then is made to say, ‘I testify that I saw you doing so and so.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَفْتَرِي عَلَى امْرَأَتِهِ قَالَ يُجْلَدُ ثُمَّ يُخَلَّى بَيْنَهُمَا وَ لَا يُلَاعِنُهَا حَتَّى يَقُولَ أَشْهَدُ أَنِّي رَأَيْتُكِ تَفْعَلِينَ كَذَا وَ كَذَا .
