19. Muḥammad ibn Ja’far Al-Razzāz narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn Ḥusain ibn Abil Khaťťāb, from Ḥasan ibn Maḥbūb, from Jamīl ibn Sāliḥ, from Fuďayl ibn Yasār, who said
Abū Ja’far (Imam Bāqir (a.s.)) said: Verily (the reward for going to) the Ziyārah of the grave of the Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) is equal to performing a purified Hajj with the Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.).

6. Muḥammad ibn Ja’far Al-Razzāz narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn Ḥusain, from ‘Abdil Raḥmān ibn Abī Hāshim Al-Razzāz, from Abī Salamah Sālim – referring to Abī Khadījah, who said
Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) said: Verily the Ziyārah of Ḥusain (a.s.) is the best of deeds.

hadith 454
4. Abul ‘Abbās narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn Ḥusain, from Ibn Sinān, from Ḥudhayfah ibn Mansūr, who said
Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) asked me, “How many times have you performed Hajj?” I replied, “Nineteen times.” Imam (a.s.) said, “Verily if you perform Hajj twenty-one times you will be like those who have gone to the Ziyārah of Ḥusain (a.s.).”
4 حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْن عَنِ ابْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ

19. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd Allah ibn Hilal from ‘Uqbah ibn Khalid who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the case of a woman who gives birth on the day of ‘Arafah, if she is required to perform Tawaf for the child and what she should do. He (the Imam) said, ‘
He (the newborn) is not obligated for anything in this matter.’”
19ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ هِلالٍ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) فِي الْمَرْأَةِ تَلِدُ يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ كَيْفَ تَصْنَعُ بِوَلَدِهَا أَ يُطَافُ عَنْهُ أَمْ كَيْفَ يُصْنَعُ بِهِ قَالَ
لَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ شَيْ‏ءٌ.
hadith 341
30-46 (The author of the book narrated) my father - may God be pleased with him - narrated that Sa’d ibn Abdullah quoted on the authority of Muhammad ibn Al-Hussein Abil Khattab, on the authority of Ibrahim ibn Abi Mahmood that Abil Hassan Al-Ridha (s) was asked
“Do vomiting, nosebleeds, pus and blood void the ablutions?” The Imam (s) replied, “No. Neither one of these will void the ablutions.”
46 - حَدَّثَنا أَبي رَضِىَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قالَ: حَدَّثَنا سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّه قالَ: حَدَّثَنا مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الحُسَيْنِ بْنِ أَبي الخَطَّاب، عَنْ إِبْراهيمِ بْنِ أَبي مَحْمُودٍ، عَنْ أَبي الحَسَن الرِّضا عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ قالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْقَيْ‏ءِ وَالرُّعَافِ وَالْمِدَّةِ وَالدَّمِ أَيَنْقُضُ الْوُضُوءَ قَالَ لا لا يَنْقُضُ شَيْئاً.

9. Ahmad b. Idris and others have narrated from Muhammad b. Ahmad from Muhammad b. al-Husayn from his father from Mansur b. Hazim or others who have said that Abu Abdullah (as) said
Ali b. al-Husayn (as) has said: 'The one who is attentive with the timings of the prayer, would never indulge into the pleasures of the world.'
9- أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ وَغَيْرُهُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ حَازِمٍ أَوْ غَيْرِهِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
قَالَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ (صلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) مَنِ اهْتَمَّ بِمَوَاقِيتِ الصَّلاَةِ لَمْ يَسْتَكْمِلْ لَذَّةَ الدُّنْيَا.

2. Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn al-Husayn has narrated from Hakam ibn Miskin from Mu‘awiyah ibn ‘Ammar who has said the following
“Abu ’Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘When a man is absent from his wife for one year or two years or more, then comes and wants to divorce her when she is experiencing Hayd (menses), he must leave her until she becomes clean, then divorce her.’”
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ مِسْكِينٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
إِذَا غَابَ الرَّجُلُ عَنِ امْرَأَتِهِ سَنَةً أَوْ سَنَتَيْنِ أَوْ أَكْثَرَ ثُمَّ قَدِمَ وَ أَرَادَ طَلَاقَهَا وَ كَانَتْ حَائِضاً تَرَكَهَا حَتَّى تَطْهُرَ ثُمَّ يُطَلِّقُهَا .

3. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn, from Safwan ibn Yahya from al-‘Ala’ ibn Razin from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“I once asked one of the two Imam, (abu Ja’far or abu ‘Abd Allah) (a.s.), about a man who performs obligatory Tawaf without Tahur (cleansing). He (the Imam) said, ‘He must take wudu’ and do his Tawaf again; even if it is optional, he must take wudu’ and perform Salat (prayer).”’
3ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ عَلاءِ بْنِ رَزِينٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَحَدَهُمَا (عَلَيْهِما السَّلاَم) عَنْ رَجُلٍ طَافَ طَوَافَ الْفَرِيضَةِ وَهُوَ عَلَى غَيْرِ طَهُورٍ قَالَ يَتَوَضَّأُ وَيُعِيدُ طَوَافَهُ وَإِنْ كَانَ تَطَوُّعاً تَوَضَّأَ وَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ.

9. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from al-Hakam ibn Miskin from Muhammad ibn Marwan who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘One may live for sixty or seventy years while Allah has not accepted not even one of his Salah (prayer).’ I (the narrator) then asked, ‘How can that happen?’ He (a.s.) said, 'Because he washes what Allah ordered to be wiped.'
9ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ مِسْكِينٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ قَالَ
قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) إِنَّهُ يَأْتِي عَلَى الرَّجُلِ سِتُّونَ وَسَبْعُونَ سَنَةً مَا قَبِلَ الله مِنْهُ صَلاَةً قُلْتُ وَكَيْفَ ذَاكَ قَالَ لأَنَّهُ يَغْسِلُ مَا أَمَرَ الله بِمَسْحِهِ.

3. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from al-Husayn from Ja‘far ibn Bashir from those whom he has mentioned who has said the following
“I once asked abu ’Abd Allah (a.s.), about the case of one who experiences sexual relation during a cold night and is afraid for his life due to Ghusl (bath) because of cold. He (the Imam) said, ‘One must take Tayammum to perform Salah (prayer) and when safe from cold, take Ghusl (bath) and perform such Salah (prayer) again.’”
3ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ عَمَّنْ رَوَاهُ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ أَصَابَتْهُ الْجَنَابَةُ فِي لَيْلَةٍ بَارِدَةٍ يَخَافُ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ التَّلَفَ إِنِ اغْتَسَلَ قَالَ يَتَيَمَّمُ وَيُصَلِّي فَإِذَا أَمِنَ الْبَرْدَ اغْتَسَلَ وَأَعَادَ الصَّلاَةَ.

4. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al Husayn from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn abu Najran from Sulayman ibn Ja‘fari from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) who has said the following.
“Imamat (Leadership with Divine Authority) does not take place in two brothers after al-Hassan and al-Husayn (a.s.). It only continues in the descendents of the Imam (a.s.) generation after the generation.”
4ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي نَجْرَانَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ الْجَعْفَرِيِّ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام)
أَنَّهُ قَالَ لا تَجْتَمِعُ الامَامَةُ فِي أَخَوَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْحَسَنِ وَالْحُسَيْنِ إِنَّمَا هِيَ فِي الاعْقَابِ وَأَعْقَابِ الاعْقَابِ.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from abu Shu’ayb al-Mahamili from Durust ibn abu Mansur from Burayd ibn Mu‘awiya from abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), who said the following
“People are not accountable before Allah to know. It is up to Allah to make them know. Once Allah makes them know then people are responsible for accepting (their duties).”
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ أَبِي شُعَيْبٍ الْمَحَامِلِيِّ عَنْ دُرُسْتَ بْنِ أَبِي مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ بُرَيْدِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
لَيْسَ لله عَلَى خَلْقِهِ أَنْ يَعْرِفُوا وَلِلْخَلْقِ عَلَى الله أَنْ يُعَرِّفَهُمْ وَلله عَلَى الْخَلْقِ إِذَا عَرَّفَهُمْ أَنْ يَقْبَلُوا.

8. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from Ahmad ibn abu Nasr from Hassan al-Jammal who has said that
Hashim ibn abu ‘Ammara al-Janbi reported to him this. “I heard Amirul Mu’minin Ali (a.s.) saying, ‘I am the eyes of Allah. I am the hands of Allah. I am the sides of Allah. I am the door to Allah.”
8ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ عَنْ حَسَّانَ الْجَمَّالِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي هَاشِمُ بْنُ أَبِي عُمَارَةَ الْجَنْبِيُّ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) يَقُولُ أَنَا عَيْنُ الله وَأَنَا يَدُ الله وَأَنَا جَنْبُ الله وَأَنَا بَابُ الله.

3. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn Al-Husayn from ‘Uthman ibn ‘Isa from Mehran ibn Muhammad who has said the following
“I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), say, ‘When a person dies, Allah sends an angel to the most distressed person of his family. The angel wipes the heart of that person to forget the pain of his sorrow and grief. Were this not to happen, the world would cease to develop or gain anything.”
3ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ مِهْرَانَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) يَقُولُ إِذَا مَاتَ الْمَيِّتُ بَعَثَ الله مَلَكاً إِلَى أَوْجَعِ أَهْلِهِ فَمَسَحَ عَلَى قَلْبِهِ فَأَنْسَاهُ لَوْعَةَ الْحُزْنِ وَلَوْ لاَ ذَلِكَ لَمْ تُعْمَرِ الدُّنْيَا.

3. It is narrated from him from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from ibn Sinan from Dawud ibn Farqad who has said the following.
“I asked (Imam) abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.), ‘I hear your statement and I want to narrate to others but it does not come through exactly.’” The Imam asked, “Do you do it purposely?” He said, “No, I do not do it purposely.” The Imam asked, “Do you keep the meaning?” He said, “Yes, I keep the meaning.” The Imam said, “It then is alright.”
3ـ وَعَنْهُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنِ ابْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ فَرْقَدٍ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لابِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) إِنِّي أَسْمَعُ الْكَلامَ مِنْكَ فَأُرِيدُ أَنْ أَرْوِيَهُ كَمَا سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْكَ فَلا يَجِي‏ءُ قَالَ فَتَعَمَّدُ ذَلِكَ قُلْتُ لا فَقَالَ تُرِيدُ الْمَعَانِيَ قُلْتُ نَعَمْ قَالَ فَلا بَأْسَ.

4. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn Al-Husayn from Safwan from ‘Ala’ from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“Abu Ja’far (a.s.), has said, ‘I dislike a man -or dislike for a man- who is lazy in his worldly affairs. One who is lazy in his worldly affairs is lazier in the affairs of his hereafter.’”
4- مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنِ الْعَلاءِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
إِنِّي لأبْغِضُ الرَّجُلَ أَوْ أُبْغِضُ لِلرَّجُلِ أَنْ يَكُونَ كَسْلاناً [كَسْلانَ] عَنْ أَمْرِ دُنْيَاهُ وَمَنْ كَسِلَ عَنْ أَمْرِ دُنْيَاهُ فَهُوَ عَنْ أَمْرِ آخِرَتِهِ أَكْسَلُ.
