عمران

The defrauded is the one who is defrauded of his age, hour after hour.

"If the saffron is the dominant ingredient in the medicine, then no. But if the other ingredients are dominant, there is no harm in it."

“Whoever does not love because of religion and does not hate because of religion has no religion.”

“I heard abu Ja‘far (a.s.), saying, ‘Whoever provides a commitment of immunity to someone but then kills him, he on the Day of Judgment will come, carrying the banner of betrayal.’”

The Almighty Allah saved Bani Israel from the mischief of Firon through Musa (a.s) and He would save this community from its Firon also through a person named Musa.

I wrote to Abu Ja'far al-Thani (Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Jawad (as)) concerning clothing made from squirrel (sanjab), mink (fanak), and silk (khazz), and I said: 'May I be your ransom, I would like you not to respond with dissimulation (taqiyya) regarding this matter.' The Imam (as) wrote back in his own handwriting, 'Pray in them.'"

“I heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), say, ‘One who recites Adhan receives forgiveness for the sins as big as the space his voice fills and everything hearing him bears witness to this fact.’” (Ahadith 9-28 are best expressed in the form of fatwa.)

“Hajj is a Jihad for our weak Shias.”

Hadith.2743 - Imran al-Halabi asked Abu Abdullah (as) about a man who performed tawaf of the Kaaba and the sa'i between Safa and Marwa while performing tamattu‘, then hastened and kissed his wife before trimming his hair. Imam (as) said: "He must offer a sacrifice of a sheep. If he engaged in intercourse, he must offer a camel or a cow."

Imam Baqir (a.s) said: “Moses, the son of Imran (a.s) said: O' Lord! I am content with Your decree. You make the elders die, and keep the children.” God said: “O' Moses! Are you not pleased with the way I give them daily bread, and guard them?” Moses said: “O' Lord! What a good guardian and what a good advocate you are.”

“Once I asked Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) about the words of Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, ‘Those who have accepted the faith and have kept it pure from injustice have achieved security and guidance.’ (6:82) The Imam said, ‘(It means one) who has kept it (belief) pure from doubt.’”

“I once heard abu Ja‘far (a.s.), say, ‘Moses, son of ‘Imran, passed by the wide road in al- Rawha’ (a place between al-Madinah and Makkah), along with seventy prophets dressed with gowns made in al-Qatwan, near al-Kufa, Iraq, saying, “Here I am to obey Your command O Lord, Your servant, son of Your servant.’””

The friend of any individual is his mind and his enemy is his ignorance.”

“I once wrote to him (the Imam), Alayhi al-Salam, asking, ‘If a sun or moon eclipse takes place and I am riding and unable to dismount what must I do?’ He (the Imam) wrote to me, ‘Perform Salah (prayer) on your stumper which you ride.’”

“Once I asked Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) ‘Which quality is more graceful for a man?’ The Imam said, ‘Of such qualities are: reverence that is not a cause for any fear, magnanimity without expecting any recompense, and business, but not in worldly matters.’”

“Ibrahim ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Umar al-Hamadaniy once wrote to abu Ja‘far (a.s.), and asked, ‘I performed al-Hajj and I was against ’A’immah, and it was my first al-Hajj; so I entered Makkah with al-‘Umrah for al-Hajj. He (the Imam) wrote to him the answer, ‘Do your al-Hajj again.”’

"Ghādiriyyah is the land on which Allāh spoke to Mūsā ibn ‘Imrān (a.s.) and He confided in Nūḥ (a.s.). It is the most honourable land with Allāh and if it was not so, Allāh would not have entrusted (the bodies of) His Divine Authorities and His prophets to it. Therefore, you should go to the Ziyārah of our graves in Ghāďiriyyah."

Everything in this book that is narrated from Yahya ibn Abbad Al-Makki has been transmitted by me from Muhammad ibn Musa ibn Al-Mutawakkil - may Allah (swt) be pleased with him - from Muhammad ibn Abi Abdullah Al-Asadi Al-Kufi, from Musa ibn Imran Al-Nakha'i, from his uncle Al-Husayn ibn Yazid, from Yahya ibn Abbad Al-Makki.

31-125 According to the same documentation, Ali ibn Abi Talib (a.s.) said, “If anyone of you has some need, he should go after its fulfillment on Thursdays. When you leave the house, recite the end of the Chapter ‘Aal Imran’, the verses ‘Aya of al-Kursi’, the verse ‘Inna Anzalnaho Fi Laylatil Qadr’, and the mother of the Book (i.e. the Chapter ‘Al-Hamd’), since there is the fulfillment of the needs of this world and the Hereafter in them.

“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about a man who is in the state of Ihram with a wound and treats it with a medicine which has saffron. He (the Imam) said, ‘If saffron is overwhelming, it is not permissible; but if the medicine is overwhelming, it is not harmful.’”
