hadith 381
O my Allāh! every praiser has on whom he praises the right of reward and recompense. Certainly, I have turned to Thee with my eye at the treasures of Thy Mercy and stores of forgiveness.
اللَّهُمَّ وَلِكُلِّ مُثْن عَلَى مَنْ أَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ مَثُوبَةٌ مِنْ جَزَاء، أَوْ عَارِفةٌ مِنْ عَطَاء; وَقَدْ رَجَوْتُكَ دَلِيلاً عَلَى ذَخَائِرِ الرَّحْمَةِ وَكُنُوزِ الْمَغْفِرَةِ.

Hadith.1960 - The Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) said: "Strengthen yourselves for the fasting of the day by eating suhoor, and for the night prayer by taking a nap during the midday rest (qaylulah)."
1960 - وَ قَالَ اَلنَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اَللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ : «تَعَاوَنُوا بِأَكْلِ اَلسَّحُورِ عَلَى صِيَامِ اَلنَّهَارِ وَ بِالنَّوْمِ عِنْدَ اَلْقَيْلُولَةِ عَلَى قِيَامِ اَللَّيْلِ».

Imam Ali (AS) said, 'Prolong your prostration, for there is no act more agonizing for Iblis [Satan] than to see man in the state of prostration, for he himself was once commanded to prostrate but refused to do so.

Imam Ali (AS) said, The practice of those who possess intellect and understanding is turning towards the permanent abode, turning away from the evanescent abode and being desirous of the Garden of Paradise.

Imam Ali (AS) said, Verily the soul is like the camel that likes to eat bitter grass, and the ear does not retain much of what it hears, so do not cut off your understanding by being importunate with your soul because for each part of the body there is [need for] repose.

Imam Ali (AS) said, The incessant liar and the dead are similar, for indeed (or because) the merit of the living over the dead is the ability to rely on him, so if his words are not reliable then [it is as if] his life is nullified.

Imam Ali (AS) said, A scholar is not a true scholar until he stops being jealous of one who is above him, does not demean one who is below him and does not take in return for his knowledge anything of the vanities of this world.

Imam Ali (AS) said, Mingle with the people through that which they recognize and leave them in that which they reject, and do not burden them [by compelling them] to follow yourselves and us, for indeed our affair is difficult and arduous.

Imam Ali (AS) said, Three [traits] are such that whoever possesses them has been bestowed with the good of this world and the Hereafter. They are: being satisfied with what has been decreed [by Allah], patience in the face of hardship and thankfulness in times of ease [and prosperity].

Imam Ali (AS) said, 'Be on your guard against evil women and be wary of even the best of them; if they enjoin you to do good, go against them and do the opposite so that they abandon all hope of your obeying them in doing evil.

hadith 1046
Imam Ali (AS) said, ‘Expectation drives reason away, breaks promises, encourages oblivion, and brings about grief. So distrust expectation, for it is deceitful and its addict is a sinner.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : إنَّ الأملَ يُذْهِبُ العقلَ ، ويُكْذِبُ الوَعدَ ، ويَحُثُّ علَى الغَفْلَةِ ، ويُورِثُ الحَسْرَةَ . فأكْذِبوا الأملَ ؛ فإنّه غَرُورٌ، وإنَّ صاحِبَهُ مَأزُورٌ .

Imam Sadiq (a.s) said: “Be pious and return the property that you have been entrusted with, since I shall even return any property of Imam Ali's (a.s) murderer to him, if he entrusted me with his property.”
وقال (عليه السلام): اتقوا الله وعليكم بأداء الأمانة إلى من ائتمنكم، فلو أن قاتل علي (عليه السلام) ائتمنني على الأمانة لأديتها إليه.

Imam Ali (AS) said, Indeed, you have been commanded to decamp and have been shown your provision [for the journey], so take from this world the provisions that you can hold on to (or that will protect you) tomorrow.

16.Muḥammad ibn Abī ʿUmayr narrated from ʿAlī al-Aḥmaṣ, from the one who informed him of it, from Abū Jaʿfar (a) who used to say, “
How good a helper this world is for the Hereafter [if it is approached correctly].”

9. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Ali ibn ‘Atiyyah who has said the following
“He had seen a soiled letter of abu al-Hassan al-Rida (a.s.).”
9ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ أَنَّهُ
رَأَى كُتُباً لأبِي الْحَسَنِ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) مُتَرَّبَةً.

Hadith.3359 - It is narrated from Ali ibn Ghurab, from Abu Abdillah (as): Imam (as) said
"Do not testify to a testimony until you know it as clearly as you know your own palm."
3359 - رُوِيَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ غُرَابٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ
"لاَ تَشْهَدَنَّ عَلَى شَهَادَةٍ حَتَّى تَعْرِفَهَا كَمَا تَعْرِفُ كَفَّكَ".

31-243 According to the same documentation, on the authority of Ali (a.s.), the Prophet (S) said, “
Only Ali (a.s.) will pay back my debts and only Ali will fulfill my promises.”
243 - وَبِإِسْنادِهِ عَنْ عَلِيِ‏ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ قالَ
قالَالنَّبِيُ‏ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ: لا يُؤَدِّي عَنِّي إِلاّ عَلِيٌّ، وَلا يَقضِي عَداتِي إِلاّ عَلِيٌّ.

hadith 275
31-275 According to the same documentation, it is narrated that Ali (a.s.) said, “
If you abandon me you will be attacked. Do not abandon me since I am a follower of Muhammad’s (a.s.) religion.”
275 - وَبِإِسْنادِهِ عَنْ عَلِيِ‏ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ قالَ
إِنَّكُمسَتُعرَضُونَ عَلَى الْبَراءَة مِنِّي، فَلا تَتَبَرَّؤُا مِنّي، فَإِنِّي عَلَى دِينِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ.
