7. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad from Hariz from Muhammad ibn Muslim and Zurara who have said the following
“Zurara has said, ‘Once we asked Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) how to plead before Allah for help?’ The Imam said, ‘Stretch your palms.’ We then asked, ‘How is seeking refuge?’ The Imam said, ‘Turn your palm to Ka’aba, and al-Tabattul is making gestures with your finger. Al-Tadarru ’ is the moving of fingers and al-‘Ibtihal is the stretching out of both hands.’”
7ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ وَزُرَارَةَ قَالا
قُلْنَا لأبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) كَيْفَ الْمَسْأَلَةُ إِلَى الله تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى قَالَ تَبْسُطُ كَفَّيْكَ قُلْنَا كَيْفَ الإسْتِعَاذَةُ قَالَ تُفْضِي بِكَفَّيْكَ وَالتَّبَتُّلُ الإيمَاءُ بِالإصْبَعِ وَالتَّضَرُّعُ تَحْرِيكُ الإصْبَعِ وَالإبْتِهَالُ أَنْ تَمُدَّ يَدَيْكَ جَمِيعاً.

3. ‘Ali ibn Ḥusain narrated to me from ‘Ali ibn Ibrāhīm, from his father, from Ibn Abī Najrān, from Yazīd ibn Isḥāq, from Ḥasan ibn ‘Aťiyyah, who said
Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) said (as part of a longer Ḥadīth): After saying Salām to the martyrs, come (back) to the grave of Ḥusain (a.s.) and face the grave and establish as many prayers as possible.
3 حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ ره عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجْرَانَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ

hadith 452
3. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from ‘Umar ibn ‘Udhaynah from Zurarah Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn Muslim and Burayd who has said the following
“About the case of a woman whose husband is absent when he dies, abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said, ‘She must count her waiting period from the day the news reaches her because she commences mourning for him.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أُذَيْنَةَ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ وَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ وَ بُرَيْدِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام )

15. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Harun ibn Muslim from Mas’adah ibn Sadaqah who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘I heard my father saying, “If a man sets a fishing net whatever is caught in it dead or alive is lawful for food, except that which does not have scales and the dead fish floating on the water.’””
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ هَارُونَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ مَسْعَدَةَ بْنِ صَدَقَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبِي ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ إِذَا ضَرَبَ صَاحِبُ الشَّبَكَةِ بِالشَّبَكَةِ فَمَا أَصَابَ فِيهَا مِنْ حَيٍّ أَوْ مَيِّتٍ فَهُوَ حَلَالٌ مَا خَلَا مَا لَيْسَ لَهُ قِشْرٌ وَ لَا يُؤْكَلُ الطَّافِي مِنَ السَّمَكِ .

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Hammaad Bin Isa, from Hareyz, from the one who informed him, who has narrated the following: Abu Ja’far (asws) regarding the Statement of Allah (azwj) Blessed and High: ““there shall come to you the chest in which there is tranquillity from your Lord and residue of the relics of what the children of Musa and the children of Haroun have left, the angels bearing it”, he (asws) said
‘The broken pieces of the Tablets in which was the Knowledge and the Wisdom’.
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَمَّنْ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عليه السلام) فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَ تَعَالَى يَأْتِيَكُمُ التَّابُوتُ فِيهِ سَكِينَةٌ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ وَ بَقِيَّةٌ مِمَّا تَرَكَ آلُ مُوسى وَ آلُ هارُونَ تَحْمِلُهُ الْمَلائِكَةُ قَالَ

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from af-Nawfafiy from af-Sakuniy who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ‘A virtuous son is a sweet smelling flower from Allah which Allah distributes among His servants. My sweet smelling flowers in this world are al-Hassan and al-Husayn whom I have named after the names of two grandsons in banu Israel, called Shabbar and Shabiyr.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) الْوَلَدُ الصَّالِحُ رَيْحَانَةٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ قَسَمَهَا بَيْنَ عِبَادِهِ وَ إِنَّ رَيْحَانَتَيَّ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا الْحَسَنُ وَ الْحُسَيْنُ سَمَّيْتُهُمَا بِاسْمِ سِبْطَيْنِ مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ شَبَّراً وَ شَبِيراً .

5. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan from Muhammad ibn al-‘Ajlan who has said the following
“I once heard abu Ja‘far (a.s.), saying, ‘If a family keeps a milking sheep, such family is revered twice a day.’ I (the narrator) then asked, ‘What is said to such family?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘It is said to the family, “You have received blessings, you have received blessings.’””
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ مَا مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتٍ يَكُونُ عِنْدَهُمْ شَاةٌ لَبُونٌ إِلَّا قُدِّسُوا فِي كُلِّ يَوْمٍ مَرَّتَيْنِ قُلْتُ وَ كَيْفَ يُقَالُ لَهُمْ قَالَ يُقَالُ لَهُمْ بُورِكْتُمْ بُورِكْتُمْ .

10. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Mansur ibn Yunus from abu Basir who has said the following
“I heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), say, ‘Speaking lies invalidates Wudu’ and fasting.’ I (the narrator) then said, ‘We are destroyed.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not the way you think it is. It means speaking lies against Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Glorious, His Messenger and ’A’immah, ‘Alayhim al-Salam.’”
10ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ يُونُسَ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) يَقُولُ الْكَذِبَةُ تَنْقُضُ الْوُضُوءَ وَتُفَطِّرُ الصَّائِمَ قَالَ قُلْتُ هَلَكْنَا قَالَ لَيْسَ حَيْثُ تَذْهَبُ إِنَّمَا ذَلِكَ الْكَذِبُ عَلَى الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَعَلَى رَسُولِهِ وَعَلَى الأَئِمَّةِ ع.

7. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hafs ibn Sawqah from those whom he has mentioned who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about a man who plays with his wife or slave-girl while fasting for Qada’ (compensatory fast) of the month of Ramadan until semen discharge takes place. He (the Imam) said, ‘
Its expiation is like that for having sexual intercourse in the month of Ramadan.’”
7ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ سُوقَةَ عَمَّنْ ذَكَرَهُ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) فِي الرَّجُلِ يُلاعِبُ أَهْلَهُ أَوْ جَارِيَتَهُ وَهُوَ فِي قَضَاءِ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ فَيَسْبِقُهُ الْمَاءُ فَيُنْزِلُ قَالَ
عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْكَفَّارَةِ مِثْلُ مَا عَلَى الَّذِي يُجَامِعُ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ.

2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from ‘Umar ibn ‘Udhaynah who has said the following
“I once wrote to abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), asking about the limit of illness because of which one has permission to stop fasting and not to perform Salat (prayer) in a standing position. He (the Imam) said, ‘In fact, man is well aware of his soul,’ it is up to him to decide; he knows about his soul.’”
2ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أُذَيْنَةَ قَالَ
كَتَبْتُ إِلَى أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) أَسْأَلُهُ مَا حَدُّ الْمَرَضِ الَّذِي يُفْطِرُ فِيهِ صَاحِبُهُ وَالْمَرَضِ الَّذِي يَدَعُ صَاحِبُهُ الصَّلاةَ قَائِماً قَالَ بَلِ الإِنْسانُ عَلى‏ نَفْسِهِ بَصِيرَةٌ وَقَالَ ذَاكَ إِلَيْهِ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِنَفْسِهِ.

3. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy from ‘Abd Allah ibn al-Mughirah from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘If one has missed fasting of the month of Ramadan, for good reasons, it is better to make its Qada’ (compensatory fast) in continued order; but in different times is also valid and it is not harmful.’”
3ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
مَنْ أَفْطَرَ شَيْئاً مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ فِي عُذْرٍ فَإِنْ قَضَاهُ مُتَتَابِعاً أَفْضَلُ وَإِنْ قَضَاهُ مُتَفَرِّقاً فَحَسَنٌ لا بَأْسَ.

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has stated this Hadith. ’Amir al-Mu’minin has said, “If a chicken feeds on human feces, it cannot be used for food until it is quarantined for three days. ‘If it is a duck, quarantine time is five days, for a sheep for ten days, for a cow twenty days and for a camel it is forty days.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) الدَّجَاجَةُ الْجَلَّالَةُ لَا يُؤْكَلُ لَحْمُهَا حَتَّى تُقَيَّدَ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ وَ الْبَطَّةُ الْجَلَّالَةُ خَمْسَةَ أَيَّامٍ وَ الشَّاةُ الْجَلَّالَةُ عَشَرَةَ أَيَّامٍ وَ الْبَقَرَةُ الْجَلَّالَةُ عِشْرِينَ يَوْماً وَ النَّاقَةُ أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْماً .

2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Nawfaliy from al-Sakuniy who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has stated this Hadith. ‘The Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ‘A food with four characteristics is complete, that it is lawful, numerousness of hands on it, mention of the name of Allah on it, and praise of Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, at its end.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) الطَّعَامُ إِذَا جَمَعَ أَرْبَعَ خِصَالٍ فَقَدْ تَمَّ إِذَا كَانَ مِنْ حَلَالٍ وَ كَثُرَتِ الْأَيْدِي وَ سُمِّيَ فِي أَوَّلِهِ وَ حُمِدَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فِي آخِرِهِ.

15. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ahmad ibn al-Hassan al-Mithamiy from Ibrahim ibn Mehzam from a man who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has stated this Hadith. ‘The Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, when the table was moved would say, “O Lord, you have granted a great deal, have made it very good, blessed it, made us satisfied and quenched. All praise belongs to Allah who feeds and is not fed.’””
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْمِيثَمِيِّ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مِهْزَمٍ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) إِذَا رُفِعَتِ الْمَائِدَةُ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ أَكْثَرْتَ وَ أَطَبْتَ وَ بَارَكْتَ فَأَشْبَعْتَ وَ أَرْوَيْتَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي يُطْعِمُ وَ لَا يُطْعَمُ .

5. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father, from al-Nawfaliy from al-Sakuniy who has said the following
“Ja’far (a.s.), has narrated from his ancestors, ‘Alayhim al-Salam, who have said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ‘Companion first, then is journey.’ ’Amir al-Mu’minin (a.s.), has said, ‘You must not accompany during a journey one who does not consider your favor to him of the same value as his favors he does to you.’”
5ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ آبَائِهِ (عَلَيْهِم السَّلاَم) قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) الرَّفِيقَ ثُمَّ السَّفَرَ وَقَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ (صلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) لا تَصْحَبَنَّ فِي سَفَرِكَ مَنْ لا يَرَى لَكَ مِنَ الْفَضْلِ عَلَيْهِ كَمَا تَرَى لَهُ عَلَيْكَ.

5. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Hariz from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“This is concerning my question before abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the case of a man who proposes marriage to a man for his daughter for a certain amount of mahr (dower) but he sends someone other than her. He (the Imam) said, ‘The one identified in marriage must be sent to him with mahr (dower) paid by her father and the mahr (dower) which was set first belongs to the woman with whom he has gone to bed.”’
5- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَخْطُبُ إِلَى الرَّجُلِ ابْنَتَهُ مِنْ مَهِيرَةٍ فَأَتَاهُ بِغَيْرِهَا قَالَ تُرَدُّ إِلَيْهِ الَّتِي سُمِّيَتْ لَهُ بِمَهْرٍ آخَرَ مِنْ عِنْدِ أَبِيهَا وَالْمَهْرُ الأوَّلُ لِلَّتِي دَخَلَ بِهَا.

2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from certain individuals of his people from Abū ʿAbdillāh (AS) who said
"Whoever says about a believer what his eyes have seen and his ears have heard, he is among those whom Allah, the Almighty and Glorious, has said about: 'Indeed, those who like that immorality should be spread among those who have believed will have a painful punishment.'" (24:19).
2ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
مَنْ قَالَ فِي مُؤْمِنٍ مَا رَأَتْهُ عَيْنَاهُ وَسَمِعَتْهُ أُذُنَاهُ فَهُوَ مِنَ الَّذِينَ قَالَ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُحِبُّونَ أَنْ تَشِيعَ الْفاحِشَةُ فِي الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَهُمْ عَذابٌ أَلِيمٌ.

Commander of the Faithful Imam Ali (MGB) said, “There are three ways by which having intercourse becomes legitimate. They are marriage with right to inherit , marriage by possessing the woman (who is a slave), and marriage without the right to inherit .”
3-106 حدثنا أحمد بن علي بن إبراهيم بن هاشم رضي الله عنه. عن أبيه، عن جده، عن النوفلي، عن السكوني عن جعفر بن محمد، عن أبيه، عن آبائه عليهم السلام قال
قال أمير المؤمنين عليه السلام: تحل الفروج بثلاثة وجوه: نكاح بميراث، ونكاح بملك اليمين، ونكاح بلا ميراث

hadith 1607
1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Hariz from Zurara from that Abu Ja’far (al-Baqir) (as) said
“Allah (azwj) has said: «Surely those who are too proud for My worship shall soon enter hell disgraced»(40:60). This is a reference to supplications, as the greatest act of worship is supplicating." I (Zurara) asked: "What is meant by: «Indeed, Ibrahim was very tender-hearted and forbearing» (9:114)." He said: "Tender-heartedness is (frequent) supplication."
1ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
إِنَّ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَقُولُ ﴿إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبادَتِي سَيَدْخُلُونَ جَهَنَّمَ داخِرِينَ﴾ قَالَ هُوَ الدُّعَاءُ وَأَفْضَلُ الْعِبَادَةِ الدُّعَاءُ قُلْتُ ﴿إِنَّ إِبْراهِيمَ لأوَّاهٌ حَلِيمٌ﴾ قَالَ الأوَّاهُ هُوَ الدَّعَّاءُ.

7. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Nawfali from al-Sakuni from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following
“Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, sent revelations to Moses saying, ‘Moses, do not be very happy about great wealth and do not avoid speaking of Me in all conditions. Great wealth causes one to forget his sins and ignoring to speak of Me hardens his heart.’”
7ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
أَوْحَى الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَى مُوسَى (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) يَا مُوسَى (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) لا تَفْرَحْ بِكَثْرَةِ الْمَالِ وَلا تَدَعْ ذِكْرِي عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ فَإِنَّ كَثْرَةَ الْمَالِ تُنْسِي الذُّنُوبَ وَإِنَّ تَرْكَ ذِكْرِي يُقْسِي الْقُلُوبَ.
