“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘For a newborn ‘Aqiqah is offered on the seventh day and the child is circumcised.’”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Circumcision for man is of Sunnah and it is a noble trait for women.’”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Piercing the ears of a boy is of the Sunnah as well as his circumcision.’”

“Abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ’Piercing a hole in the ear of a boy is of Sunnah and circumcision on the seventh day is of Sunnah.’”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Circumcision is of pure obedience to Allah.’”

"There is no harm if a woman performs tawaf without being circumcised. As for a man, he should not perform tawaf unless he is circumcised."

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin has said, ‘If a man becomes a Muslim he must circumcise even if he is eighty years old.’”

the two truthful Imam, ‘Alayhim al-Salam, who have said, ’Circumcise your children on the seventh day from their birth; the earth cries before Allah because of the urine of an uncircumcised person.’ I pray to Allah to keep my soul in service for your cause, people performing circumcision in our city are not very knowledgeable and they do not do it on the seventh day but there is a Jewish person; if it is permissible for a Jewish person to circumcise children of Muslims or not by the will of Allah. He (the Imam) signed the answer that said, ’It is of Sunnah to circumcise on the seventh day, so do not oppose the Sunnah by the will of Allah.’”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘It is not harmful if a woman who is not Makhfudah (circumcised) performs Tawaf, but a man must not perform Tawaf until he is circumcised.’”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Of the Sunnah of prophets is draining al-Istinja’ (one’s urine) and circumcision.’”

"He should not perform Hajj until he is circumcised."

He must not perform al-Hajj until he is circumcised.”’

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ‘Cleanse (circumcise) your children on the seventh day of their birth; it is more clean and allows the flesh to grow quicker. The land remains unclean for forty days because of the urine of an uncircumcised man.’”

O Allah (swt), this is Your (swt) Sunnah and the Sunnah of Your Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), and it is our following of You (swt) and Your Prophet (sw) by Your (swt) will, Your (swt) desire, and Your (swt) decree for a matter You (swt) have willed, a decision You (swt) have made obligatory, and a command You (swt) have executed. You (swt) have made him taste the heat of iron in his circumcision and cupping for a matter You (swt) know better than I do. O Allah (swt), purify him from sins, increase his lifespan, protect his body from afflictions and his flesh from pain, increase him in wealth, and remove poverty from him. Indeed, You (swt) know while we do not." Abu Abdullah (as) also said: "Whoever does not say this at the time of his child's circumcision should say it before the child reaches puberty. If he says it, the child will be protected from the heat of iron, whether from killing or anything else."

“Abu ‘Abd Allah, Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘There was a woman called ‘Umm Taybah. She would circumcise girls. The Holy Prophet, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, called her and said to her, ‘O ‘Umm Taybah, when you circumcise girls do not allow it to become excessive. It clears the color of the face and is more enjoyable for the husband.’”

'For You (swt), I have shed this blood, with no partner for You (swt). All praise is due to Allah (swt), the Lord (azj) of the worlds. O Allah (swt), drive away from us the accursed Satan.' As for circumcision, it is a Sunnah (recommended practice) for men and an honorable practice (makramah) for women."

“Five traditions are related to the head, and five traditions are related to the body. The five related to the head are: brushing the teeth; shaving the moustache; parting one’s hair; gargling; and taking water into the nose. The five traditions related to the body are: circumcision; shaving pubic hair; trimming underarm hair; clipping one’s nails; and washing up after going to the toilet.”

Five things are due to our nature: cutting the nails; shaving the moustache; trimming underarm hair; shaving the pubic hair; and circumcision.”

'Circumcise your children on the seventh day so they may be purified, for the earth complains to Allah (swt), the Mighty and Majestic, about the urine of the uncircumcised.' May Allah make me your ransom, but the barbers in our region are not skilled in this, and they do not circumcise on the seventh day. However, we have a barber who is a Jew. Is it permissible for the Jews to circumcise Muslim children or not?" Imam (as) replied: "On the seventh day - do not oppose the Sunnah, God willing."

Banquets should only be served in five situations: wedding parties, birth of babies, circumcision, purchase of houses, and returning home from Mecca (after performing the Hajj).”
