“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ‘Cleanse (circumcise) your children on the seventh day of their birth; it is more clean and allows the flesh to grow quicker. The land remains unclean for forty days because of the urine of an uncircumcised man.’”
