Hadith.5670 - Salih ibn Said narrated from Yunus, from some of his companions, from Abu Abdullah Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as), who said
I asked Imam (as): "What is the reason that when a man divorces his wife while he is ill in a state of harm (idrar), she inherits from him, but he does not inherit from her?" He (as) replied: "It is due to the harm. The meaning of harm here is his intention to prevent her from inheriting from him, so he was held accountable by being obligated to allow her inheritance as a form of punishment."

2. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla ibn Muhammad from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Abdallah from Muhammad ibn Yahya from Salih ibn Sa‘id who has said the following.
“Once I went to see abu al-Hassan (a.s.) and I said, “May Allah take my soul in service for your cause, in all matters they wanted to extinguish your light and be unjust towards you. So much so that they have lodged you in this disgraceful place for the homeless.” He said, “O ibn Sa‘id, here. He pointed out with his hand and said, “Look there.” When looked I saw gardens. I saw very delightful gardens. There lived lovely boys and girls as if they well protected and secure pearls. There lived birds and beautiful deer. It have fountains and rivers that pur out and gush forth. My sight bewildered and my eyes turned dull. He then said, “Wherever we may live these are for us. We are in the lodging for the homeless.”

36. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Salih ibn Sa‘id from Yunus from certain persons of his people who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), about the case of a man, who expresses the statement of al-Zihar about his wife. He says, ‘For me you are like the back of my mother or like her hand, or like her belly, or like her vagina, or like her soul, or like her feet’; if this is al-Zihar and if he owes what one who expressed the statement of al-Zihar owes. He (the Imam) said, ‘If one expresses the statement of al-Zihar about his wife and says that she is like the back of his mother to him, or like her hand, like her leg, her hairs or something of her with the intention for it to be unlawful, then expiation becomes obligatory in a little or more of it. So also is the case if he says that she is like his relatives and expiation becomes obligatory on him.’”

And whatever is narrated from Abu Saʿid Al-Khudri regarding the will of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, to Ali, peace be upon him, which begins with the statement: "O' Ali, when the bride enters your house," I have narrated it from Muhammad ibn Ibrahim ibn Ishaq Al-Ṭalqani - may Allah (swt) be pleased with him - from Abu Saʿid Al-Hasan ibn Ali Al-Adawi, from Yusuf ibn Yahya Al-Aṣbahani Abu Yaʿqub, from Abu Ali Ismaʿil ibn Hatim.
Abu Jafar Ahmad ibn Ṣalih ibn Saʿid Al-Makki narrated to us, who said: Umar ibn Hafṣ narrated to us, from Ishaq ibn Najih, from Huṣayf, from Mujahid, from Abu Saʿid Al-Khudri, who said
The Messenger of Allah (swt), peace and blessings be upon him and his family, entrusted his will to Ali ibn Abi Ṭalib, peace be upon him, and said: "O' Ali, when the bride enters your house," and he narrated the hadith in its entirety as recorded in this book.

7. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Salih ibn Sa‘id from Yunus from certain persons of his people who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abdullah (a.s.), about the meaning of Hadith that says, ’Perform al- Dhuhr Salah (prayer) when the sun is equal to one length or two, one yard or two or one step or two steps from this and from there. When is it and how is it? At certain times is half of one step.’ He (the Imam) said that in the Hadith is it said, ‘ An object’s shadow’ and not the shadow of an object’ is because the shadow of an object may appear in different sizes, sometimes longer and sometimes shorter, but an object is an object all the time and it does not change. Hadith has said that it is one yard or two yards, one step or two steps.” Thus one yard or two yards have become explanation of one length or two lengths during the time when an object’s shadow is of the size of one yard and two object’s shadows of the size of two yards. Therefore one object’s or two objects’ shadows and one yard or two yards are in agreement with each other in times as understood one, explaining the other and supported thereby. At a given time, for example at one O’clock, when an object’s shadow is of the size of one yard the time (for Salah (prayer)) is one yard of an object’s shadow and the object is a yard of the shadow. When an object’s shadow is less or more, the time is measured in yards or two yards. This is the explanation of one length and a yard or two yards.’” (The theme of Hadith is obvious; it only may need a little thinking to grasp it fully.)

1. We were told by my father, may Allah grant him mercy, that he said: We were told by Muhammed bin Yahya al-‘Attar, that he said: We were told by Ya’qoub ibn Yazid, from Muhammed bin Amru, from Saleh bin Sa’eed, from his brother, Sahl al-Halwani, from Abu Abdillah, peace be upon him, that he said
Once, Isa ibn Maryam, peace be upon him, was on his journeying as he passed by a village and found its people dead on the road and in homes. He said: Then he said: Indeed, these people died due to a wrath. If they had died due to something else, they would have buried each other. He said: Then his companions said: We would like to know their story. It was then said to him: Call upon them, O Spirit of Allah. He said: Then he said: O people of the village. He said: Then a responder from them responded: I am at your service, O Spirit of Allah. He said: What is your condition and what is your story? They said: We woke up in the morning in comfort, and we slept in a state of the abyss. He said: Then he said: And what is the abyss? He said: Seas of fire in which there are mountains of fire. He said: And what lead you to what I see? He said: Love for this world and worship of the tyrant. He said: And to what did your love for this world reach? He said: Like the love of a child to his mother; when she approaches, he rejoices, and when she goes away, he grieves. He said: And to what did your worship of the tyrant reach? They said: When they would command us, we obeyed them. He said: Then how were you able to respond me from among them? He said: Because they are stoned with stones of fire, and upon them are Angels that are rough and harsh. I was, indeed, among them, but I was not from them, and so, when the torment afflicted them, it afflicted me with them. Hence, I am adhering to a hair on the edge of Hell, fearing that I fall upside down into the Fire. He said: Then Isa said to his companions: Sleeping on rubbish sites and eating barley bread is much goodness [1] along with safety of (faithfulness in) religion.

Imam had sent them to Ibrahim: ‘Allah is greater than can be described, Allah is greater than can be described, Allah is greater than can be described. Abu Ja`far Muhammad b. `Ali b. al-Husayn b. Musa b. Babuwayh al-Qummi (ra) narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. Ibrahim b. Ishaq (ra) narrated to us. He said: Abu Sa`id al-Hasan b. `Ali al-`Adawi narrated to us. He said: Yusuf b. Yahya al-Isfahani Abu Ya`qub narrated to us. He said: Abu `Ali Isma`il b. Hatim narrated to me. He said: Abu Ja`far Ahmad b. Salih b. Sa`id al-Makki narrated to us. He said: `Amr b. Hafs narrated to us from Ishaq b. Najih from Khusayf from Mujahid from Abi Sa`id al-Khudri. He said
The Messenger of Allah (s) advised `Ali b. Abi Talib (as), saying: O `Ali! When the bride enters your house, then take off her footwear when she sits, and wash her feet. Sprinkle the water from the door of your house to the furthest part of your house, for if you do that, Allah will remove seventy types of poverty from your house, and put seventy types of blessings therein, and send down seventy mercies that flutter on the head of the bride, until all her blessings are placed in every corner of your house. It will protect the bride from being afflicted with insanity and leprosy as long as she resides in that house. During her [menstrual] week, prevent her from [consuming] milk, vinegar, coriander, and sour apple – these four things. So, `Ali (as) said: O Messenger of Allah! For what reason should I prevent her from these four things? He said: Because the womb becomes sterile and cold from these four things; and a mattress at the end of the house is better than a sterile woman. So, `Ali (as) said: O Messenger of Allah! Why would vinegar be prevented? He said: When she menstruates upon [eating] vinegar, she will never become fully purified. Coriander moves the menstrual blood in her stomach (or insides) and intensifies childbirth for her. Sour apple cuts her menstruation short, which will ail her. Then, he said: O `Ali! Do not have intercourse with your woman at the beginning of a month, in its middle, or at its end, or else insanity, leprosy, and dementia will hasten to her and her child. O `Ali! Do not have intercourse with your woman after Dhuhr, for if you are apportioned with a child in that time, it will have a deformed eye, and Satan becomes happy with deformity in humanity. O `Ali! Do not speak during intercourse, for if you are apportioned with a child at that time, he will not be protected from muteness. None of you should look at the private of his woman; lower your gaze during intercourse, for looking at the private bequeaths blindness in the child. O `Ali! Do not have intercourse with your woman while lusting after a wife of someone else, for I fear that, if you are apportioned with a child in that time, it will be effeminate (mukhannath), feminine, and disgraceful. O `Ali! He who is sexually impure in a bed with his woman should not recite the Quran, for I fear that a fire will descend upon them from the sky and burn them. O `Ali! Do not have intercourse with your woman except that you have a covering and that your wife has a covering. Do not have intercourse under a single covering, or the desire will fall, and that will bequeath enmity between you, and that will lead you to separation and divorce. O `Ali! Do not have intercourse with your woman while standing, for that is from the actions of donkeys; and if you are apportioned with a child in that time, it will urinate in the bed just as donkeys urinate in all places. O `Ali! Do not have intercourse with your woman on the eve of [Eid] al-Fitr, for if you are apportioned with a child in that time, that child will be of much evil. O `Ali! Do not have intercourse with your woman on the eve of [Eid] al-Adha, for if you are apportioned with a child in that time, it will have six fingers or four fingers. O `Ali! Do not have intercourse with your woman under a fruitful tree, for if you are apportioned with a child in that time, it will be an executioner, a killer, or a military man. O `Ali! Do not have intercourse with your wife in the sunshine without a barrier that covers both of you, for if you are apportioned with a child in that time, it will remain in poverty until it dies. O `Ali! Do not have intercourse between the adhan and the iqama, for if you are apportioned with a child in that time, it will be too afraid to shed blood [in the battlefield]. O `Ali! When you woman becomes pregnant, do not have intercourse with her unless you are upon ablution, otherwise if you are apportioned with a child, it will be blind of heart and stingy of hands. O `Ali! Do not have intercourse with your wife in the middle of Sha`ban, for if you are apportioned with a child, it will have a blemish on its face. O `Ali! Do not have intercourse with your wife at its end – when two days remain of it – for if you are apportioned with a child, it will be a tax collector or a supporter of a tyrant; and the destruction of a people will be on its hands. O `Ali! Do not have intercourse with your wife on the roofs of buildings, for if you are apportioned with a child, it will be a hypocrite, a charlatan, and an innovator. O `Ali! When you are going out on a journey, do not have intercourse with your wife on that night, for if you are apportioned with a child, it will be one who spends his money unjustly – and the Messenger (s) recited, “Surely, the wasteful are the brethren of the devils.” (17:27) O `Ali! Do not have intercourse with your wife in the day or the night of a three-day journey, for if you are apportioned with a child, it will be a supporter of all who oppress you. O `Ali! Betake to having intercourse on the eve of Monday, for if you are apportioned with a child, it will be one who memorized the Book of Allah and is pleased with what Allah has given him. O `Ali! If you have intercourse with your wife on the eve of Tuesday, and you are apportioned with a child, he will be granted martyrdom after bearing witness that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammadan is the Messenger of Allah; and Allah will not punish it with the pagans, it will have a sweet mouth, a merciful heart, a generous hand, an a tongue that is purified of backbiting, lying, and false accusations. O `Ali! If you have intercourse with your wife on the eve of Thursday and you are apportioned with a child, it will be a ruler or a scholar. If you have intercourse with her on Thursday after the Sun reaches its zenith in the sky and you are apportioned with a child, Satan will not approach him until he greys and understands, and Allah will grant him peace in the religion and in this world. O `Ali! If you have intercourse with her on the eve of Friday, and a child is born to you, it will be a preacher and speaker. If you have intercourse with her on Friday after `Asr, and a child is apportioned for you, it will be recognized, prominent, and knowledgeable. If you have intercourse with her on the eve of Friday after the final `Isha’, then it is hopeful that you will have a child from the Abdal, God-willingly. O `Ali! Do not have intercourse with your wife in the first hour of the night, for if you are apportioned with a child, there is no protection from it becoming a sorcerer preferring this world over the Hereafter. O `Ali! Preserve this advice of mine, just as I have preserved it on behalf of Gabriel (s).
