hadith 16
Hadith.1612 - Ya'qub ibn Shu'ayb asked him (Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as)) about the tithes collected from a man: "Can they be counted as part of his Zakat?" Imam (as) replied: "Yes, if he wishes."
1612 - وَ سَأَلَهُ يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ : عَنِ اَلْعُشُورِ اَلَّتِي تُؤْخَذُ مِنَ اَلرَّجُلِ يُحْتَسَبُ بِهَا مِنْ زَكَاتِهِ قَالَ
«نَعَمْ إِنْ شَاءَ ».

3. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from Safwan ibn Yahya from Ya’qub ibn Shu’ayb who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), if there is Zakat on jewelries. He (the Imam) said, ‘If so nothing will remain thereof.’”
3ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) عَنِ الْحُلِيِّ أَ يُزَكَّى فَقَالَ إِذاً لاَ يَبْقَى مِنْهُ شَيْ‏ءٌ.

1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad and al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla’ ibn Muhammad all from al-Hassan ibn Ali al-Washsha’ from Aban from Shu’ayb who has said the following
“Abu ’Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Whatever you gain by means of assets, pay Zakat thereof and whatever you receive as inheritance or gift, pay Zakat thereof after a year passes.’”
1 - محمد بن يحيى، عن أحمد بن محمد، والحسين بن محمد، عن معلى بن محمد جميعا عن الحسن بن علي الوشاء، عن أبان، عن شعيب قال
قال أبو عبد الله (عليه السلام): كل شئ جر عليك المال فزكه وكل شئ ورثته أو وهب لك فاستقبل به.

3. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father and Muhammad ibn ’Isma‘il has narrated from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan all from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Shu’ayb who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the case of my brother who owes a large amount of Zakat, can I pay for him? He (the Imam) asked, ‘Why do you pay it?’ I replied, ‘I do so out of precaution.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘Obviously, you provide him great relief.’”
3ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ جَمِيعاً عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ شُعَيْبٍ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لأَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) إِنَّ عَلَى أَخِي زَكَاةً كَثِيرَةً فَأَقْضِيهَا أَوْ أُؤَدِّيهَا عَنْهُ فَقَالَ لِي وَكَيْفَ لَكَ بِذَلِكَ قُلْتُ أَحْتَاطُ قَالَ نَعَمْ إِذاً تُفَرِّجَ عَنْهُ.
