“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘When the sun declines toward the west at noontime, it is time for al-Dhuhr Salah (prayer) except that there is Nafl (optional Salah (prayer) before al-Dhuhr Salah (prayer). It is up to you to spend a longer time for it or a short one.’”

Abū Ja’far (Imam Bāqir (a.s.)) said: Any believer who cries over Ḥusain (a.s.) with (even) one tear running down his cheek will be rewarded by Allāh for that tear; he will be made to dwell in rooms in Paradise where he will stay for long ages.

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that Ali (a.s.), would send an animal for offering. He would then stay away from all things from which a person in the state of Ihram stays away, except that he would not say Talbiyah. He would set up a time in which they were to slaughter the badanah and thereafter he would become as one not in the state of Ihram.’” NOTE: (Fatwa best explains Hadith 1-2 of this Chapter)

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Once in the month of Ramadan ‘Umm Salamah complained of illness of her eyes. The Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, commanded her to eat, saying, ‘Not to eat until supper can cause the demise of your eyes.’”

he said, “By Allah, the fasts of Shaban and Ramadan are like repenting before Allah.”

Umm Salamah narrated: “One morning Ameer al-Momineen (a.s) came and knocked at our door. God's Prophet (a.s) asked me to get up and open the door. I opened the door, but Imam Ali (a.s) held the door so that it did not open wide and he could not see me. I went to my room and he requested permission to enter and entered the house when permission was granted.”

The Honorable the Exalted God honors those who reach forty years of age and is shy before those who reach eighty years of age.”

“And in the heaven is your sustenance and what you are threatened with…” (51:22-23) He said “It implies the rise of the Qaim of Aale Muhammad (a.s).”

“O Hazim, there will be two occultations for the master of this affair and he would reappear in the second of the two. And if someone comes to you and says that he has touched his grave, do not testify for him (accept him).”

The Prophet (s.a.a.w.) said: Those who come to my Ziyārah during my life or after my death will be my neighbours on the Day of Judgment.

The people are of three groups: Arabs, friends and the debased. We are the Arabs. The friends are those who love and follow us. However, the debased ones are the Nasabites who dislike us.”

“The Holy Prophet (SAW) said to Ali (AS), O Ali, bury me in this place, raise the surface of my grave from the ground by the width of four fingers and sprinkle water on it.”

Our Lord, hasten for us our share before the Day of Reckoning.» (38:16) Their share of the torment.

Salamah ibn Muhraz asked Abu Abdullah (as) while I was present. He said: "I performed Tawaf around the Kaaba and between Safa and Marwah, then went to Mina and had relations with my wife without performing the Tawaf al-Nisa." Abu Abdullah (as) said: "What a bad thing you have done," reproaching me. I said: "I was put to trial." Imam (as) replied: "There is no penalty upon you."

He said: "The Messenger of Allah (sw) used to perform the Maghrib prayer, and a group from the Ansar called Banu Salimah, whose homes were at a distance of half a mile, would pray with him. They would then return to their homes while they could still see the marks of their arrows”.

Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) said: I have been informed that some people go to the Ziyārah of Ḥusain ibn ‘Ali (a.s.) carrying different kinds of food with them, including Akhbisah and other similar deserts. Verily if they had gone to the graves of their loved ones, they would not have taken such things with them.

“Once I was in the presence of abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) that Mihzam came in and to The Imam (a.s.), ‘May Allah take my soul in service for your cause, enlighten me about this matter that we wait for (the rise of al-Mahdi with Divine authoriiity). When it will take place?” The Imam (a.s.) said, “O Mihzam, those who give it d definite time have lied, the expediting ones perish and salvation is for those who are submissive.”

Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) said: Jabra`īl announced the news of the killing of Ḥusain (a.s.) to the Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) in the house of Um Salamah. While Jabra`īl was with the Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.), Ḥusain (a.s.) entered. Jabra`īl said to the Prophet (s.a.a.w.), “Verily your nation will kill him.” The Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) said, “Show me the dust on which his blood will be shed.” Therefore, Jabra`īl took a handful of that dust and it was a red-coloured dust. Um Salamah kept that dust until she died.

The Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) said: Those who come to my Ziyārah after my death are like those who have come to visit me during my life, and I will be their witness and their intercessor on the Day of Judgment.

Abu Abdullah (asws) said: ‘Allah (azwj) Blessed and High has Adorned our (asws) Shites with the forbearance, and Covered them with the knowledge by His (azwj) Knowledge of them before He (azwj) Created Adam (as)’.
