hadith 1148
16. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Yunus from ibn Sinan from Hafs ibn Qurt from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following
“Whoever’ s entanglement with the world is greater his sorrow to leave this world becomes more intense.”
16ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنِ ابْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ قُرْطٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
مَنْ كَثُرَ اشْتِبَاكُهُ بِالدُّنْيَا كَانَ أَشَدَّ لِحَسْرَتِهِ عِنْدَ فِرَاقِهَا.

12. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Khalid from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hafs ibn Qart from abu Hamza from abu Ja’far (a.s.) who has said the following
“Abu Ja’far (a.s.) has said, ‘Maintaining good relations with relatives improves moral behavior, strengthens the ability to be generous with the pleasure of one’s soul, increases one’s means of sustenance and delays the coming of death.’”
12ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ قُرْطٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
صِلَةُ الأرْحَامِ تُحَسِّنُ الْخُلُقَ وَتُسَمِّحُ الْكَفَّ وَتُطَيِّبُ النَّفْسَ وَتَزِيدُ فِي الرِّزْقِ وَتُنْسِئُ فِي الأجَلِ.

6. Abu Ali al-Ash’ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from Safwan ibn Yahya from Ishaq ibn ‘Ammar from Hafs ibn Qurt who has said the following
“I once said to abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), ‘There was a woman in al-Madinah and people left their slave-girls with her to train them. We said that there is no one on whom wealth is poured as it is poured before her.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘It is because she spoke the truth, returned the trust safely and that is what attracts wealth.’ Safwan has said, ‘I heard this Hadith from Hafs later on.’”
6- أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الأشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ قُرْطٍ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لأبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) امْرَأَةٌ بِالْمَدِينَةِ كَانَ النَّاسُ يَضَعُونَ عِنْدَهَا الْجَوَارِيَ فَتُصْلِحُهُنَّ وَقُلْنَا مَا رَأَيْنَا مِثْلَ مَا صُبَّ عَلَيْهَا مِنَ الرِّزْقِ فَقَالَ إِنَّهَا صَدَقَتِ الْحَدِيثَ وَأَدَّتِ الأمَانَةَ وَذَلِكَ يَجْلِبُ الرِّزْقَ. قَالَ صَفْوَانُ وَسَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ حَفْصٍ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ.

hadith 790
4. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from ibn Faddal from ‘Ubayd ibn Fiafs ibn al-Qurt from ’Isma‘il ibn Jabir who has said the following
“I once said to abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), I pray to Allah to keep my soul in service for your cause, if a bird is trapped in the house and it is taken, is taking it lawful or unlawful. He (the Imam) asked, ‘O ’Isma‘il is it healthy or it is not healthy and free ? 5 I then asked, ‘I pray to Allah to keep my soul in service for your cause, what is healthy ? 5 He (the Imam) said, ‘It is one with complete wings with full control on them and is able to fly wherever it wants . 5 He (the Imam) said, ‘Such ones belong to whoever catches them . 555
وَ عَنْهُ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ حَفْصِ بْنِ قُرْطٍ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
قُلْتُ لَهُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ الطَّيْرُ يَقَعُ عَلَى الدَّارِ فَيُؤْخَذُ أَ حَلَالٌ هُوَ أَمْ حَرَامٌ لِمَنْ أَخَذَهُ فَقَالَ يَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ عَافٍ أَمْ غَيْرُ عَافٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ وَ مَا الْعَافِي قَالَ الْمُسْتَوِي جَنَاحَاهُ الْمَالِكُ جَنَاحَيْهِ يَذْهَبُ حَيْثُ شَاءَ قَالَ هُوَ لِمَنْ أَخَذَهُ حَلَالٌ .

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Yunus ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman from Hafs ibn Qurt from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.), who said
“The Messenger of Allah (sw) said, ‘Whoever believes that Allah has commanded to do evil and sin has ascribed lies to Allah. Whoever thinks that good and evil are without the wish of Allah, has considered Allah without authority. Whoever thinks that sins are without the power from Allah, has ascribed lies to Allah and whoever ascribes lies to Allah, He will make him to enter the Fire.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ قُرْطٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) مَنْ زَعَمَ أَنَّ الله يَأْمُرُ بِالسُّوءِ وَالْفَحْشَاءِ فَقَدْ كَذَبَ عَلَى الله وَمَنْ زَعَمَ أَنَّ الْخَيْرَ وَالشَّرَّ بِغَيْرِ مَشِيئَةِ الله فَقَدْ أَخْرَجَ الله مِنْ سُلْطَانِهِ وَمَنْ زَعَمَ أَنَّ الْمَعَاصِيَ بِغَيْرِ قُوَّةِ الله فَقَدْ كَذَبَ عَلَى الله وَمَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَى الله أَدْخَلَهُ الله النَّارَ.

hadith 439
2. My father (RA) said: `Ali ibn Ibrahim said, on the authority of Yunus ibn `Abd al-Rahman, on the authority of Hafs ibn Qurt that Abu `Abd Allah al-Sadiq (AS) said
The Messenger of Allah (SA) said: Whoever claims that Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, commands immorality and indecency has attributed a lie to Allah. And whoever claims that good and evil take place without the will of Allah, has removed Allah from His Rule. Whoever claims that sins can take place without the power of Allah, has attributed a lie to Allah. And whoever attributes lie to Allah, Allah will cast him into Hell. The meaning of good and evil is health and illness, referring to his saying, the Majestic and Glorious: "And We try you by evil and good by way of probation." (Quran 21:35)
2 - أبي رحمه الله، قال: حدثنا علي بن إبراهيم، عن محمد بن عيسى، عن يونس بن عبد الرحمن، عن حفص بن قرط، عن أبي عبد الله عليه السلام قال
قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم: من زعم أن الله تبارك وتعالى يأمر بالسوء والفحشاء فقد كذب على الله، و من زعم أن الخير والشر بغير مشية الله فقد أخرج الله من سلطانه، ومن زعم أن المعاصي بغير قوة الله فقد كذب على الله، ومن كذب على الله أدخله الله النار. يعني بالخير والشر: الصحة والمرض، وذلك قوله عز وجل: ﴿ونبلوكم بالشر والخير فتنة﴾ .
