“I once saw abu Ja‘far, al-Thaniy, Alayhi al-Salam, emit saliva in Masjid al-Haram between al- Yemaniy corner and the Blackstone and did not bury it.’”

I asked Abu 'Abdullah (a.s.) about what was added to the Masjid al-Haram. He replied, "Indeed, Ibrahim (a.s.) and Isma'il (a.s.) limited Masjid al-Haram between as-Safa and al-Marwah."

“I once said to abu ‘Abd Allah, Alayhi al-Salam, ‘I dislike performing Salah (prayer) in their Masjid.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘You must not dislike it; every Masjid is built on the grave of a prophet or the executor of the will of a prophet who was murdered and that site received a sprinkle of his blood and Allah loved to be spoken of therein. So you can perform obligatory Salah (prayer) therein as well as optional Salah (prayer) and what you need to perform as Qada’ (compensatory prayer).’”

“I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), say, ‘If you enter (the Masjid of the Holy Prophet) through the door of al-Baqi‘, the house of Ali (a.s.), is on your left side, a goat’s passage away from the door. It is by the side of the house of the Messenger of Allah. The doors of both houses are close by.”’

“I heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), say. ‘The Messenger of Allah has said, “When any one of you after completing an obligatory Salah (prayer), wants to leave a Masjid he should stand at the door and say, ‘O Lord You called me and I answered Your call. I performed my obligatory Salah (prayer). I want to move in Your land as You have commanded me. Now I ask You to help me to act in Your obedience, avoid making You angry with me and suffice me in matters of my sustenance through Your mercy.”””
