الحسين بن سالم: قال الشيخ الحر في تذكرة المتبحرين (251): " الشيخ حسين بن سالم فاضل، صالح، عالم، من تلامذة الشهيد الثاني، رأيت كتاب تمهيد القواعد، نقل من نسخة بخطه، وكتب عليه أنه قابله عند مؤلفه مقابلة كالقراءة لا قراءة كالمقابلة وعليه حواش له ".
