I asked Abu al-Hasan Imam Musa ibn Jafar Al-Kadhim (as) about a man who married a woman but did not consummate the marriage, and then she committed adultery. Imam (as) said: "They shall be separated, she shall receive the prescribed punishment, and she is not entitled to a dowry."

Everything in this book that is narrated from Muhammad ibn Isma'il ibn Bazi' has been transmitted by me from Muhammad ibn Al-Hasan - may Allah (swt) be pleased with him - from Muhammad ibn Al-Hasan Al-Saffar, from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn 'Isa, from Muhammad ibn Isma'il ibn Bazi'.

“Abu Ja’far (a.s.), has said, ‘If one dies before the age of forty, his life is cut short, and if one dies before fourteen days from the day of his falling ill, such death is a sudden death.’”

“Abu al-Hassan (a.s.), wrote from Khurasan to al-Madinah, ‘Do not make abu Ja‘far al- Thaniy to drink sawiq with sugar because it is bad for man.’ “Al-Sayyariy has explained it from ‘Ubayd Allah that it is undesirable for men because it weakens manhood desire due to its cold nature with sugar.”

“I once heard abu al-Hassan (a.s.), saying, ‘Fortunate is the man who does not die before seeing a successor of his own self.’”

“You must not ignore anyone’s prayers; the prayers of Jews and Christians for you are answered, but they are not answered for themselves.”

He who denies the Midnight Ascension is belying Rasulullah (s).

And whatever is narrated from Muthanna ibn Abd Al-Salam, I have narrated it from Muhammad ibn Al-Hasan - may Allah (swt) be pleased with him - from Muhammad ibn Al-Hasan Al-Ṣaffar, from Muawiyah ibn Hakim, from Abdullah ibn Al-Mughirah, from Muthanna ibn Abd Al-Salam.

17.Al-Ḥasan ibn ʿAlī said, “I heard Abā al-Ḥasan (a) say, ‘[One of the things] that ʿĪsā (a) said to the disciples was, “Do not grieve over what you have missed of this world of yours, just as the people of this world do not grieve over what they have missed from their Hereafter when they acquire their worldly objectives.”’”

The Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) said: On the Day of Judgment, I will intercede for those who have come to my Ziyārah.

I asked Abā Ja’far (Imam Jawād (a.s.)), “What is the reward for those who go to the Ziyārah of the grave of Imam Riďā (a.s.)?” Imam (a.s.) replied, “I swear to Allāh that their reward is Paradise.”

“He (Allah) dominates all things small or big.”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘A slave does not inherit and a free person does not inherit from a slave.’” (It is because a slave does not own anything.)

“One who visits the tomb of Imam Husain (a.s.) knowing his right, it is written down in Illiyeen.”

Abil Hasan (a.s.) who has said the following: “One could recognize the [place of Sujud (prostrations)] of abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), because of its perfumes.’”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘A man must not go to bed with a woman in a Wednesday night.’”

Imam Hasan (AS) said, ‘Thinking is the life of the heart of the cognizant.

Imam Ali (AS) said, Physical beauty is of no benefit without nobility.

Abu Ja’far al-Baqir Muhammad ibn ‘Ali, peace be upon him, said: "It is recorded in the book of Amirul Mu’mineen, peace be upon him: three traits are such that whoever possess them, would not die before seeing their evil consequences: injustice, breaking off with blood (womb) relations and false oath." And the quickest way to earning a reward (from Allah) is to mend the relations with your kith and kin; for these are people who transgress, but when they mend their relations with each other, their wealth grows and they become rich. And false oaths and breaking off from one’s relatives turn the villages into the wastelands. And may Allah bless our master Muhammad and his progeny, with peace and salutaions.

I heard Ja’far ibn Muhammad, peace be upon him, say in the presence of people of Kufa: "It is surprising to hear people claim that they have derived all their knowledge from the Prophet, peace be upon him and his progency, and having acted accordingly, they are guided. And they believe that we, Ahlul Bayt, have not derived his knowledge, nor have we been guided by him, in spite of being his family members and descendants! The revelation descended in our homes, and from us the knowledge reached the people. Do you believe that they knew and were guided, while we remained ignorant and lost? This is indeed impossible."
