الحسن بن زيد: ابن الحسن بن علي بن أبي طالب (عليهم السلام)، المدني الهاشمي، من أصحاب الصادق (عليه السلام)، رجال الشيخ (4). وقال السيد أحمد بن المهنا في عمدة الطالب في المقصد الأول في ذكر عقب أبي الحسن زيد بن الحسن: ويكنى (الحسن بن زيد) أبا محمد كان أمير المدينة من قبل المنصور الدوانيقي، وعمل له على غير المدينة أيضا، وكان مظاهرا لبني العباس على بني عمه الحسن المثنى (إنتهى). وذكر غيره له ذموما كثيرة.
