محمد بن حفص: وقع بهذا العنوان في إسناد عدة من الروايات، تبلغ تسعة وعشرين موردا. فقد روى عن أبي الربيع الشامي، وإسماعيل بن دبيس، والحسين بن خالد، وحفص بن غياث، وصباح الحذاء، وعبد الله بن سنان، وعبد الله بن طلحة، وعلي بن أبي حمزة، ومحمد بن عمارة، ومنصور. وروى عنه إبراهيم بن صالح بن سعيد، وإبراهيم بن محمد، و إبراهيم بن هاشم، وإسماعيل بن مهران، ومحمد بن عبد الحميد.
